So far so good. Today is the 1st day i\'ve worn these boots. I was really glad they fit over my calves, but the are a little loose around the top. Nothing I can\'t live with. I put some inserts in them, just because I usually need some cushion under my feet. I wish the ankles didn\'t start to slouch already, but I guess that\'s just part of it. So far lots of positive comments. I think these are a good buy if you have trouble finding boots to fit over runners calves.

I think that Zappos is great. It was my first time ordering, and I found it to be very easy. Love my new boots; they are everything I had hoped they would be, and you can't beat the free shipping.

I was so excited to find affordable wide calf boots. They are very comfortable and fairly stylish. I can't be picky since these are the first pair I've ever had that were fairly nice. I've worn them twice and I probably could have gone with 16.5" vs 17" since leather stretches and there is a little give at the top. But overall I'm very pleased.

Runs a bit large - I have been looking for boots like these for more than a year. Having wide calves can be a challenge. So when I saw these I made sure to cover all my bases because you never really know what size will fit, and my feet can be picky. I normally wear a 10.5 (really 11, no one makes a 10.5) so I ordered a 10M, 10W, 11M, and 11W. The 10M fit the best! The only complaint I have is that they gape a bit at the top, but I can live with that to end my quest for point, small-heeled tall black boots.

I wanted them to be perfect! These were just too wide for my calves but perfect in every other way. I loved the skinny heel and pointy toe and the leather was very soft BUT the calf was just too wide. Found another pair by Naturalizer that fit my wide calves much better. They're not as pretty as these though!

These boots are really pretty; you would never look at them and know they are not real leather. I was shocked at how pretty they are. I love the toe; it is pointed but boxed at the end, very nice. However, and it is probably the shape of my legs, they fit oddly. My legs are narrow at the ankle and under the knee compared to the rest of my calf. My calves are very big, but actually have a very curvy shape. But, being narrow at the ankle, these are quite baggy at my ankle. And, being narrow below the knee, the boots "stick" to my curvy calf making the top of the boot have a lot of gaping, and it looks odd. I do love the height of the boot, I am 5'4" and they hit right below the knee. The heel is also a great height, and the boots are comfortable to have on. I will have to put them on a few more times, but because of the odd fit, I will probably be returning them, which makes me sad because they are gorgeous boots.

I had tried on at least 20 boots in stores and only one could zip over my calves (but were too short), so I was very excited to find these. The synthetic leather looked and felt great. Loved the heel height (most of what I found in stores were too high). Unfortunately, I found the circumference too wide. It measured a bit over 16 inches (for a size 7.5) whereas the description states 15" for a 6.5. They were also a little saggy around the ankles. They're good for tucking in jeans, but I wanted them to fit sleekly over just pantyhose, so they were a no-go for me.

Love, love, love! I have purchased 6 pairs of "wide calf" boots this year, and only one pair has fit....until now. I am absolutely in love with these boots. They are simple, fashionable, and well priced. I didn't expect them to fit when I bought them, but they fit like a glove. I'm 5'2", and not a big girl, but my calves are huge. I usually wear a size 8, but the 7 1/2 fits fine (and black size 8 was not available at the time, however, another customer reported buying a half size smaller as well). The pointed toe did not crush my feet as I thought it would, and they are more comfortable than I expected. My search for a high heeled boot is finally over.

Best ever - I ordered these two days ago, and I am already wearing them. Got free overnight shipping (Zappos is the best!). These are far better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend them to anyone that cannot fit into "normal" knee length boots from a store. They look great. I am 5'2'' and I have no problem with these. They are very comfortable, and they look great. There is a very small gap on the top when they are on and zipped up, but the rest of the boot fits and looks great. If this helps anyone, I normally wear a size 7 adidas sneakers, and the 6.5 of this boot is perfect for me.

These would have been the PERFECT boots, exactly what I was looking for, wider calf, low heel, and when I put them on they truly do fit like a glove, and were very comfy. However, I had an issue with the top opening of the boot, there was a HUGE gap and looked very awkward if worn with jeans or alone because they stuck out on the side, even though they fit my calves perfectly. Maybe it's just me, I'm only 5'2", so maybe taller girls will fit just fine. These were not too tall though, so I don't know. I was very upset, because I thought I finally found the perfect boots, but unfortunately I had to return them. *still searching...*
