The shoes came earlier than promised. Thank you Zappos. Once again, they looked nice, fit well, and were a very decent price.

Cheap Materials but Decent Fit - I wear 11 Wide (at least I thought I did, maybe I’m only 10.5) and ordered 11 Wide. These shoes feel about 1 half size too long (I can fit 1.5 thumb widths between the top of my toe and the top of the shoe leather) and maybe 1 centimeter too narrow (my small toe is pushing the side wall of the shoe out about 1 centimeter), but they still fit the best out of the other 5 pairs I ordered: Bostonian Centaur, Cole Haan Air Jarvis Plain Oxford, Johnston & Murphy Harding Panel Lace, Rockport Bvallee, and Rockport Ellingwood. It's a shame the materials are medium quality (at best). The leather is grainy looking. The insole is cheap looking and there isn’t much cushioning or arch support. One bright spot is the outsole looks very nice and is ideal for winter weather, which I why I bought them. The padded collar is comfortable too. I will order 10.5 Wide (maybe 3E even) in brown (although another review said the materials on the brown ones look really poor) and see how those fit.

I ride public transit most days and my shoes get dirty and scuffed up fairly quick. I also have wide feet so low priced shoes can be difficult to find. I decided to try these shoes because they were cheaper than similar style Rockport. They also look cheaper and feel cheaper. The insoles aren\'t vented so the air doesn\'t circulate well and tend to make my feet feel warmer and sweatier. Otherwise, they are comfortable for walking. I bought both a black and brown pair. The finish on the brown look decidedly cheaper than the black. I wouldn\'t buy these again, I\'d rather pay a little more for a little better shoe.

Shoes are quality leather and true to their width. The length on them was a half size longer than expected, but the smaller size worked great.

My husband has such wide feet that we can never find shoes in a store that fit him. I ordered these in a 4E width and his feet have never been happier!

I was looking for a basic, reasonably-affordable shoe for my business-casual workplace, and the Riverdale definitely fits the bill. These shoes aren\'t flashy, but they are comfortable and fit an office environment well.

Fantastic service! It is difficult to find size 15 shoes in our local stores, but Zappos has many styles to choose from. The free delivery was upgraded to express and we received the shoes in two days. The fit was perfect and the shoes look very nice.

I have purchased them in both black and brown. Very nice shoe. Looks good with dress pants or a suit. Not extremely glossy like some dressier shoes. I bought them in wide to fit my custom insoles. Works nicely. A little longer then expected though, but gives me plenty of room. The heels seem to have a little extra cushioning then my typical dress shoes.

Great shoes - they look good, very comfortable, size is true. Still too new to know how well they will hold up. They\'re not quite as shiny as I thought they would be. Better to wear with slacks than a nice suit.

Comfortable, good looking - I like these a lot. The first day I wore them they were comfortable all day. And they look good. They do have a shiny finish and they so scuff a bit so they'll need to be polished once in a while. So far I like them a lot. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and they fit me well.

Very good shoe for the price - I found this shoe to be a very good value for the price. Pretty smart looking and comfortable compared to other shoes I have purchased through Zappos in the same price range. Fit was dead on.

Look great in the box... But it'll scuff just looking at it. I am actually considering stripping these shoes and redying them. I have a similar par of black toe-capped oxfords form Bostonian (exactly the same construction and sole, only difference is the toe detail). And they are bomb proof--three weeks in, daily use, and they still look good. The Riverdale? I wear them maybe one day a week and the need a polish after every wearing.

Excellent style, somewhat poor fit - The look of this shoe is fantastic, which is one of the primary reasons I continue to wear it. The comfort is okay, but definitely not what I am used to with Bostonians. The right shoe seems a little "off" in that the arch support starts a further up the shoe. It is perhaps a defect. However, my biggest complaint is that, after wearing the shoe a few times, I noticed that they were made in China and not in Italy as are my other Bostonians.

Great Shoe - This is my 3rd pair of Bostonians. They're comfortable and economical and hold up well. I'll keep buying them!

Hum Drum Dependability - Very light shoe that's a bit tight even though I'd ordered Wide. For work, it's a no-brainer.
