This may seem redundant in light of all the other glowing reviews, but this is a great shoe. I'm very particular with fit and style and this cap toe exceeded my expectations. A sharp shoe. A one day break in period for me and that was it. Holds a great shine.

My husband loves these shoes. He has been looking for leather soles. They're difficult to find. At first, his feet hurt at the base of his toes. I felt the shoe inside, and we agreed that the metatarsal arch support was so superb (and his feet were so used to cheap shoes!) that it would take some getting used to. He put on a tux and we went out on the town -- even dancing! His feet love the shoes, now.

On the advice of my partner I went to the Zappos site to see what is available in 30s/40s style oxfords. I was impressed with both the quality and volume of shoes available. The number of styles available is overwhelming, but with easy access and categorization I had no difficulty locating an assortment of attractive models. Within minutes I found a pair in keeping with my taste and price range. Ordering was simple and direct. On arrival I found my shoe all I hoped for but too narrow. It was necessary to return the shoes. To my good fortune a wider pair was available and to Zappos credit there is no return charge, enough in itself to prompt a buyer to consider Zappos as a perfect fit is not guaranteed when buying shoes online. The second pair was perfect. In short, I couldn't be more pleased with Zappos service, promptness, and selection. What's not to like?

The deer skin leather is absolutely wonderful. A very soft, supple and luxurious leather. It does require more attention than cow leather. Moisturize the deer skin leather about every month. A little extra care goes a very long way. These shoes are excellent.

Good shoes. Good price. I am happy. Almost all of my shoes are Bostonian. The "last" they use just fit my foot well, for the most part. Most other shoes just do not fit well. So, I keep coming back to Zappos for Bostonian shoes!

Bostonian shoes are a great bargain. I wear them 5 days a week for 14 hours and need durability and comfort. As a sales executive I spend most of the day on my feet in front of customers, so they have to perform and look great too. My first pair lasted one year of straight wear and tear. This is my second pair and will suffer the same abuse - but I know they will hold up to the task. Recommend shoe trees to anyone to really help prolong the life of the shoe. It helps keep their form and dry them out. Definitely recommend Bostonians to a friend. Zappos order was easy and prompt delivery.

My husband & I recently took up ballroom dancing. Imagine his frustration trying to find leather sole bottoms on shoes that fit his 14EE! Thankfully, a friend told me about Zappos, after looking online, I found two pairs his size for dancing and even ordered a casual pair of Hush Puppies for him, all the while thinking, "I can return these". Ordered Monday, they arrived on Thursday and they all fit, comfortably! We kept them all! They are all well made and COMFORTABLE! This is my second pair of Bostonians. As with the first pair, the Bostonian Macro is a high quality shoe and they fit no major problems. Other brands that I returned were higher priced and were of less quality. I will be sticking with Bostonians. As far as Zappos goes, simply the best, I purchased in the past from them. They are professional in every sense and second to none. Great customer service; fast shipping and a sweet return policy.

Love the shoes, but I love the service I received from Zappos. I made a return that was simple and easy they even upgraded my replacements to overnight delivery. Bostonian Marco - The Bostonian Marco is a great shoe. Great fit-comfortable after a few hours. The heel tends to squeak a little on polished floors at work. The service was unbelievably good. Excellent company to do business with.
