Suprisingly a lot more comfortable than I expected. I have a wide foot, so I ordered the wide size and the fit was excellent and very comfortable. I would recommend this shoe and as an added bonus it was a great price.

Very comfortable shoes with no-slip sole. I have had several pairs of Bostonians and this is my latest pair. They did not disappoint. The leather sole has been replaced with a rubberized sole that looks nice but is not as susceptible to water and slip. They did require a little bit of break-in, which is expected.
Brands I'd also recommend: Birkenstock

My last pair of Bostonian's lasted me 7 years and believe me I put the miles on them. I just bought a great pair of Howes Bostonian shoes. Just one thing you need to know, they fit large so you will need to order or purchase a half size smaller. remember, just a half size not a full size. So get yourself a great pair of sophisticated and stylish shoes and enjoy.

Overall the shoes are a good quality. However, I was disappointed, because I expected to receive a factory sealed finished product. One shoe had a minor leather fuzz and the shoe box have seen better days The tissue paper was also torn. After all this was a gift item and I expected to receive something more pristine.

My husband generally has a hard time finding wide shoes, but he really likes these. They're modern enough without being super pointy or anything. Keepers!
