Good lookin shoes... took a week to break in... These are really nice looking shoes, with interesting detail to them... They are very comfortable. I always buy Bostonian shoes, and wear these almost every day. You won't be disappointed...

Amazing - Bostonian has never disappointed me with a pair of shoes. This is my second pair and I can easily see why I will buy my next pair from them. This shoe is lighter than most dress shoes which make it feel casual to the feet, but dressy to all onlookers.

Decent Dress Shoe - Nice looking dress shoe. The arch support is not quite in the right location for my foot. Needs some breaking in to soften up the leather. Laces way too long.

Five Stars - I've worn Rockports for years however recently purchased my first pair of Bostonians Espresso in black and can't say enough about this great looking shoe with all the comfort I’ve been looking for, you can't go wrong here! Zappos you make online shopping a breeze.

True Comfort - I have been buying Bostonian shoes for years, but this is the first time that I received an online shipment before trying them on first. I must say that these shoes are comfortable right out of the gate. I had no need to "break" these shoes in, which is a first for me as I wear size 11 EE.

Great shoes... I love the shoes. They look great and most importantly they're very comfortable to wear. There was no "breaking in" period. The shoe strings are a bit longer than normal but I like that.

Great Shoe for Brown Needs - I ordered the Espressos in brown and they are very versatile. You can dress them down or up, and they are certainly modern enough for going out to clubs and dinner. They needed no break-in time and were comfortable from the start. Not heavy at all and they have a nice cushioning effect. As noted in other reviews, the laces are probably too long. With the color of the leather, I'm unsure of how to polish them when they get scuffed. Perhaps clear shoe polish might work. If you get them for $95 or less, I'd highly recommend them. Over $100 and I'd hesitate to recommend them, as I haven't worn mine that long to see how they hold up. Maybe they'll last, maybe not. So far, they're great!

More stylish & more comfortable than Rockports! I've been wearing Rockports thinking they were the most comfortable men's dress shoe, but I was wrong. These are more stylish and more comfortable!

Nice shoe. Just what I was looking for--dressier than casual loafers, but not TOO dressy. I wouldn't wear these with a suit, but they're perfect with dress pants otherwise. True to size, comfy.

Great shoe for orthotics - I recently needed to get a shoe that could accommodate an orthotic due to really bad bone spurs. These shoes fit the bill to a "T". They were comfy out of the box and fit the Ortho really well. I would highly recommend these to anyone in a similar situation. Only concern: Like many others - the laces are REALLY long and the color is very dark - they actually could pass as oxblood or a burgundy...

Espresso to go please! These shoes are not only very stylish, but also extremely comfortable. The lacing is a bit long, but it’s nothing that pants can't cover over. If you’re looking for a sturdy work shoe for business casual then go for these.

Very comfortable - Phenomenal comfort for all day wear. Less formal than full leather sole, but far better feeling and much safer on slick surfaces, and plenty dressy for a suit or business casual.

My dad loves it - I bought those for my aging dad because he always has trouble with shoes not fitting his feet properly, and he absolutely loves them straight out of the box. This is the first Bostonian he owns, since he lives in Florsheim, but I think he'll be adding a lot more pairs soon. He said they are not THAT dressy, since the sole is not leather, but dressy enough for the office on most days. And of course, Zappos service absolutely rocks!!! Where else can you order something on a Sunday afternoon and have it at the door on Monday? Love them!

Good, comfy shoes but... I had these shoes for about 2 and half months and wore them constantly. They were comfortable and fit me well, but after the 2.5 months they leather and sole began to separate. I wasn't sure why mainly because I hadn't been using them in any "crazy" manner. I wasn't in a situation to be able to return them for a new pair so I had to stop using them. But up until that happened they were great shoes. Maybe I just got a bad pair.
