These patent leather dress shoes were the perfect accompaniment for a formal affair. These shoes were so comfortable worn right from the box and required no break-in.

This is a beautiful shoe, and an excellent value. The size 13 was at minimum a size 15. Had to return - great service, as always.

The look and feel of the shoe are great. Unfortunately, it's a faulty design. I developed a heel squeak. I thought that it was just me until I read other reviews. I would not buy them.

Nice looking, cap toe shoe. I wear it to work probably 3 days a week. The first few days of wearing them cut some blisters into my right heel. This was not a major surprise, it only took a few times of wearing to get that over with. Now they are as comfortable as ever. Only complaint so far is that the shoes are hard to get off. Sounds silly, but sometimes I really have to pull hard to get these things off my feet. Saying that, it seems like when I pull my shoe off like that, some of the lining on the sole of the shoes comes up. Never had that happen before, but not really concerned about it yet. Overall a good shoe for work/dress.

Purchased these shoes and was super excited. Received them and noticed how poor of a quality it was. Hugo Boss has let me down. I returned the shoes immediately. The shoe was stained brown - okay fine, no problem. The stain from the rim of the sole was spread over to the actual shoe in the front. The discoloration was very obvious. The patterns all around the shoe were discolored. Looked like a horrible staining job. The outer layer was dark and some of the holes were left unstained. Poor quality. Hugo Boss is really slacking. Bring back the quality!

Do not buy! I ordered these shoes in an 11 like I do for every dress shoe I own. I tried them on around the apartment and they felt fine. I walked around for a few minutes in them, they fit well and were fairly comfortable. I left my Chicago apartment and by the time I walked half a mile I was feeling searing pain on the back of my heel from the shoe rubbing against it. I wear Sperry's and Tom's without socks a fair bit when I'm casual, so my feet aren't 'tender.' Considering it was too late to return them now, I winced and went about my day. By 5:00 my Achilles were bleeding and I had to buy bandages to make it home. In addition the cheap leather had not broken in at all and was causing serious discomfort around my toes. The build quality feels like a shoe you'd find at Ross or Walmart. I guess now I have two dismal, useless, odd-shaped paperweights for my desk at home. Complete and utter waste of money. These shoes are so stylish, can be worn casually and semi formal. I had to put in my own insoles though because I have to wear these shoes around 10-12 hours and the stock insole doesn't give much support after a while. But overall a great shoe.

I've been wearing Hugo Boss for years. As a matter of fact, I've owned several and it is my go to brand for everyday wear. The shoe looks excellent, but the quality is terrible! The inner portion of the shoe is covered with half leather and from the toe to about the middle of the shoe, it feels like compressed cardboard. After about 4-5 wears, the leather is already peeling back because of its poor construction. Contacting Customer Care for return. Skip this style!

I should have read the other review before ordering this for my husband. He wears a size 9 or 9 1/2 but after a couple orders and returns, we found out he is a size 7 in this shoe. But since we ordered the other sizes, we were able to compare the quality and unfortunately the size 7 was a lot darker in color, almost to the point it looks black. The leather was also not as smooth and nice as the bigger sizes so after ordering four of these, we end up returning all of it.

Love the shoe, everyone loved them. They feel like they look. Ibelieve the shoe is somewhat narrow which is a plus.

Great looking shoe and fits perfectly. Very well made and cleans easily. I put these to the test right away at a wedding. Feet didn't hurt all night. Only negative I've noticed, which I blame myself, is the bottom seems to mark easily. The wedding I attended required walking across some dirt ground and looking at the bottom of the shoes later, they seem to be scuffed a tad. Maybe I need to clean them with something other than water, but still, a very comfortable and well made shoe. And as always, Zappos got these to me super fast with their amazing service.

The fit was fine, The quality seemed fine. It looked odd because of the break and bulge across the top of the toe box.

Great with suit or jeans. Runs large, I wear size 11, after several tries ended with 9.5.

This shoe was very uncomfortable and oddly long. I felt like I had on water skies. Beautiful styling and I think it would hold up well however it doesn't fit my feet comfortably. I am a big cole hann fan because of comfort so this just didnt work for me.

After I got orthotics I wanted a dress shoe that fit my orthotics without removing the inner sole. I tried many shoes and this was the winner. The comfort, color, style, and price were all within my search criteria (especially when this shoe was on sale). If you plan on wearing these and walk on concrete (city setting), then the leather soles will wear out faster than the heel (my leather sole lasted me about 2 years with moderate to heavy walking in the city). I have a fairly inexpensive cobbler that have resoled my shoes without any problems.

My husband bought these shoes for our wedding this December. He tried on a MILLION other shoes in the department stores and they were all horrible and either too uncomfortable or they made his feet look strange. My husband's tux is BOSS so we were thrilled to find these on Zappos. He danced all night in these shoes, and he now swears by BOSS for all his formal wear.

I purchased this shoe for my boyfriend. Perfect for job hunting, interviews, presentations, and can be used for weddings/formal events. All around functional shoe. He loves it!

These shoes are a bit disappointing because the first pair I ordered were practically a full length longer than what I expected. Because the soles are somewhat stiff and the material around the ankle is smooth, my heels would slide out of the shoes while I walked. I ordered a size lower and somewhat fixed the lack of support for the soles to bend with my heel, but now the shoes squeeze my feet, indicating they are a more narrow and long design. The style is top-notch, but the narrow driver-like tread demands the wearer have good balance, else the leather sides will easily give-way if the foot slides to either side.

I started a new job and wanted to throw some classic brown oxfords in the mix. I was struggling to find a pair with a low profile that weren't in the high-end price range. While these were still a little more than I wanted to spend for a daily wear it was a good trade off. They look great, are lower profiled like I wanted, yet not this much, and are well made and comfortable. Per other reviewers the soles are slippery but that's to be expected with leather soles.. A little scrape on the sidewalk solves that. What REALLY bothered me about these shoes is that they have a brand label on each side. What's up with that? I have both Magli and Feragammo (which are much nicer and pricier) and they don't have their damned brand marked on the leather. Classless. I didn't catch that on the buy or probably wouldn't have gotten them.

This order came in so fast it was as if they shipped form the next town. The boots are incredibly comfortable, sexy looking with a pair of jeans and highly recommend them.
