I bought this as a Christmas gift, and my mother-in-law could not have been more pleased. The leather is soft and the red is beautiful. She wanted a place for everything, including her checkbook, and this fit the bill. Also, it did not start out bulky. The leather is nice and thin so you can fit a lot of stuff!

Very happy with the quality of the product. Very supple leather. I'm a little nervous about whether it'll get scratched, scuffed in a gnarly way. I've had this wallet about a month, and no real scratches yet, though. My one other concern is that the way the checkbook holder fits inside the wallet isn't very secure. (One of the flaps just tucks into a pocket of the wallet. I find that it tries to slip out often, especially when I'm unfolding the wallet.)
