These are out of the box comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 and they are perfect. Nice footbed. Bringing on a two week trip to France next month. Will report back if any issues.

Love Borns, they are so nice to the feet. However, this pair was weird. L foot wider than the R...noticeably so, as if stretched. Returned. I hate it when the shoes have defects like that!

Felt a little smaller than a "true eight", and the toe bed/front half of the shoe kind of curled up like an unexaggerated genie shoe (hopefully a good mental image). The curling up wasn't visible, just uncomfortable for someone who is looking for a shoe to walk around on at work. I wanted something that was a little more flexible in the toe bed however the shoe was flexible in the mid-foot section. I otherwise love Born shoes, I just didn't like the style of this model. Ended up returning them.

I wear black flats almost everyday and as a result I go through them very quickly. I prefer something plain and simple yet comfortable. Born's Stowaway hit all of my must haves. After almost a year of wear they are still in great shape and are very comfortable shoes. I even bought another pair of Born flats in another color because I loved this style so much.

Good everyday flats. They stretch a bit. I was debating between an 8.5 and 9 and decided on the 9. Now I'm wondering if I could've done the 8.5 and they would have stretched out and been perfect. The black flats I had before these were the Cole Haan Air Bacara. Overall I like those better, but the Born Stowaway is a good less expensive option.

I was surprised by how comfortable this shoe is. However, I need it for long days of standing in a convention center, and it simply isn't substantial enough for that type of use. I think some of the other Born flats that are more structured would be better. These would be good for a less intense wear, however, and would be great travel shoes. The T Moro Snake Print Leather (dark brown) was far cuter in person than it is online, but the black was more "ho hum" than I expected.

I have a different pair of Born flats that I absolutely love. I ordered these in the same pair and wish I could say I loved them. I know everyone's feet are different and not everyone has the same issues with a pair of flats, but these flats tore up my little toes on both feet. I had terrible blisters and then eventually they started bleeding due to the chafing against my foot. I found this very odd because I have VERY narrow feet, so I'm not sure why this happened. A half size bigger would have been too big. I'm going to attempt to stretch them out with some socks and a blow drier or see if putting band aids on my little toes will prevent future chafing. I'm pretty bummed out. It sucks that I wore them around the house and nothing, but as soon as I walked a few blocks in them outside, my feet were ruined. Sigh.
I'd also recommend: JCrew, Rockport, Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Dr. Scholl's, Naturalizer
