These are just wonderful. Big chunky heels but not heavy and very wearable and walkable--I spent a full day in these right out of the box. These aren't truly wide but are generous enough for those of us are a bit more than a B.
Brands I'd also recommend: UGG

Won't wear anything but Borns, although have to return this particular style for another brown sandal. Seem to run a bit big as had to use the smallest hole at the ankle wrap to keep my toes from going off the edge of the shoe. Also, on each side, they rubbed uncomfortably on the inside of my big toe just at the place where it emerged from the shoe. I have inherited small bunions which turn the toes inward so that might be the problem there. Not going to another brand; just to another shoe. As with all Borns, they're still cute.
Brands I'd also recommend: nothing as comfortable as Borns!

This shoe is just about the perfect platform sandal in existence. It's great for work, for fun, for errands. It's seriously that comfortable. The one hitch for me is that Borns do not come in narrow, which means that my feet are not as secure as they might be in this shoe. If they came in an A width, I would be in seventh heaven. It is a testament to how well they are made that, even with a bit of wiggle on my narrow feet, they are extremely comfortable and pain free after a long day.
Brands I'd also recommend: Naturalzer. Dansko, Rockport

I wear a 6.5 wide, width is snug but I can tell because of quality of leather it would stretch. I am under 5 feet tall so the height on it is great! Because of platform I think they are also comfortable (and I had bunion surgery 2011).
