Got these for my husband. He loves them. He commented on the great comfort right out of the box. He gives them an excellent rating. Sturdy soles get high marks, but he says they're almost too loud on tile floor; the rubber has a hard feel to it. Nice looking shoes.

This is my 3rd pair of Born shoes and I must say I am very pleased with these shoes so far. The 1st pair of Born shoes I bought may have been the best shoes I have ever owned. The 2nd pair, while nice, seemed to be a notch down in the quality department. I did get 2 years of almost daily wear out of them but surprisingly the soles wore through before the uppers even looked worn. So far I am really happy with these Sierra IIs. They are incredibly comfortable and look even better in person than in the photos. They feel true to size and while I have had them for only about a month they are wearing nicely. There is zero break in with Borns. Out of the box they feel cloud-like. There is not a lot of arch support but there is some. If you are thinking about these shoes, I would definitely recommend them and I would get them again. Lastly, Zappos is incredible. I don't know how you folks do what you do. I ordered them in the evening and they arrived in the afternoon the next day! Ridiculous. So great and thanks.

These shoes are well-made and very comfortable. Classic style that goes with khakis or jeans. My foot problems require comfort and arch support, and this shoe provides both. Great shoes!

Great shoes. Required no break-in. I wore the shoes immediately on a trip to Europe. Very comfortable and goes well with jeans or business/casual attire. Delivered timely as promised.
I'd also recommend: I prefer Born. Have several pair.

The most comfortable shoe ever. Like gloves for your feet. I can walk or stand them in all day without fatigue. Well made with quality leather, although Born has stopped using 100% leather footbeds in favor of synthetic mesh. My third pair of Born shoes and they won't be my last. Seems to be a variation of the Hutchins model with more interesting toe box.
I'd also recommend: Cole Haan
