Bord is a brand I love. They have good arch support in their shoes and this boot was no exception. The boot felt like it would be comfortable to wear all day and the heel height is perfect.\r\n\r\nThey fit true to size and width.\r\n\r\nThey look great under jeans. I just wish the circumference was a few inches smaller though. If you have wider calves (> 14") you may just love these!

So cute!
I was looking for a comfortable, casual, but cute boot. I'm rather short so I wanted a stylish heel but one that wasn't so high that I wouldn't be comfortable walking around in them all day. This boot has really fit the bill. They're very cute--kind of like a stylish, city-version of a Western/cowboy boot. The heel is enough for some height but not clunky and old-fashioned. Some people have complained about the shape of the toe, but I actually think it is stylish and comfortable. It is not as pointed as most of my shoes, but since I have wide feet, the toe accommodates for that. As said, I am short (4'10") with thin legs, yet the boot hits mid-calf and is not too big around. The sole also has substantial padding. The leather is high-quality. Looks good with a mid-length skirt and under jeans, and though I didn't prefer it over skinny jeans, I think it may just be that I can't really pull that look off. All-around really great boot, very comfortable, and I am super happy with the buy. A tip though: buy the shoe a half size smaller than your normal size; I am a 6-6.5, and I bought a 6 that fit perfectly, even with moderate socks.

Pretty much the best boots ever -
I'm on my feet most of the day, and noticed a colleague wearing the Born Kale boots. She raved about their comfort so I was convinced to order them in brown. I loved them so much I bought a second pair in black. I can wear them all day with only a little bit of the tired feet feeling and they look super cute under wide-legged pants and boot cut jeans.

These boots are beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. Far more than I would normally pay or have ever paid for a shoe or boot, but am so happy with this purchase! Absolutely 5 stars!

These boots are quite stylish and extremely comfortable. In retrospect I would like the look a little better if they had a bit taller/tighter shaft because they don't look as cute with a skirt as I'd hoped, and you can't see the buckle detail with long jeans, but they're very cushiony, have good rubber non-skid soles, and can dress up or down. One warning - the warm lining, while not overly bulky or anything, does tend to stick to standard dress/trouser socks and make them slide down - so you'll want to wear either tights/nylons or knee socks or some other socks that stay up well on their own.

Born has the best comfort/style ratio!
These shoes are super cute - feel extremely comfortable and supportive on my walk to work down the steep slippery hills of Seattle. Unlike other reviewers, in my opinion they run a 1/2 size large; I usually wear 7 1/2 and I probably could've gone with a 7. Looks cute with dark jeans tucked in. Me: 5'0 tall, very high arches; the boots reach mid-calf on me. Can't wait to wear with cute summer dress. They are reminiscent of western style boots with a less “clunky” feel which makes them work-approriate. I gave them 4 stars because they're not my ideal boot (I could use another half inch on the heels!), but I am very happy with my purchase, nonetheless!

Made for walking!
These were just what I hoped: they go with pants or long skirts, can dress up or down, and are comfortable enough to be on my feet all day. Plus, they are non-skid and tough enough for Wyoming winters and seem really well made. Kind of expensive for me, but money well spent, I think, as I will wear them a lot and for a long time, I hope.

Comfortable everyday boot.
I bought this boot to satisfy my search for a comfortable, stylish, everyday boot. I'm not disappointed. I usually wear the Frye Campus boot as my everyday shoe, but the shaft on that boot has become very wide and wrinkly, which in turn makes my jeans look funny. I wanted a pair of boots to wear under my jeans that I could wear all day, everyday. These fit the bill. I find them to be true to size, and they've become more comfortable as I've worn them over the course of a week. They look great with jeans. I don't think I'd wear them over jeans, or with skirts/dresses, because the shaft is low and it would shorten my legs. But perfect for what I was looking for. Totally comfortable, and the heel adds a nice amount of height.

This is a great boot!
Fits like a glove, very comfortable heel height, substantial yet stylish heel. Able to navigate winter conditions yet looks great with a skirt and tights. I have the brown, will probably order black as well.

Due to (ahem) age of this reviewer, comfort has become the first requirement of any pair of shoes. I give this 4 out of 5 stars, but probably no pair of boots could earn a 5 from me. They are definitely what I was looking for though, and again, Born has delivered. I ordered 1 half size larger because of advice given in another review and that was just right. Aren't the acorns on the bottoms of the boots cute?

GREAT! So comfy -
These are the most comfortable and stylish boots I have found after looking through thousands of pairs. With a new baby I needed something stylish but wearable. These did the trick. I have an average calf and these fit great with a little room and at a size 9 made my feet look small which is great. They may be pricey but they are so worth it with the comfort you get inside and out. I will be buying these in brown too.

New Favorite boots!
Love them! If they weren't so expensive I would get them in another color. Very well made and very comfortable for a heel. As others mentioned, they are a bit too skinny at the top to wear with jeans tucked in. Perhaps the skinny jeans would work for some. Could wear with long skirt.

Wonderful boot -
Great boots. Out of the box and wore for a good ten hours with no discomfort, I can not remember a boot fitting like this. I have worn them for business casual and with jeans out on a Sat. I wear mid calf skirts sometimes and these look good. They are not as pointed as I would have liked, they are very rounded and a bit wider than I like, I have other boots for a sleeker look with suits and business and evening wear.

I ordered my usual size, 8 1/2, and received the boots in 3 days. They were a 1/2 size too big. I called to return them and reorder size 8. I had the new size in 2 days and the return was no problem. The boots look very stylish, I wanted something that would last and I know Born shoes are very well made, and I love the look and comfort.

Love this boot. It is comfortable and can be work dressed-up or dressed-down. I am surprised that the reviews say that it runs small. For me, it runs very large. I usually wear an 8 (Euro 39, but in this I needed a 7 1/2 (Euro 38) and maybe even a 7 would have worked

Sad, but true -
These are BEAUTIFUL boots!! The color in particular is gorgeous. Since I wasn't sure about the size I would need, I ordered three different sizes. Imagine my disappointment when none of them worked. There is something odd about the way your foot feels in this boot. There is no arch support at all - in fact, it was like the middle part of your foot never touches anything. I know this sounds nuts, but I have never experienced anything like it. I have sent back two of the three and may return the third. Still trying to decide if looks trump comfort! Normally I love Borns and have about seven different pair but these are just weird.

Heel looking little funky -
The shoe looks very traditional, all leather, very classy. I was just not impressed by the heel; it looks like a mix between a cowboy boot heel and a regular stylish heel. The front is also little wider, so I recommend this for ladies with wide toes.
