What happened to Born? It's been several years since I bought a pair, and I was expecting plenty of wiggle room for my toes - that's what I always associated Born with. These are narrower than every other shoe I own. These were long enough in my usual size, but I was uncomfortable the moment I put my foot in because my toes were squished together. (One note: the soles are much thicker than they look and some of the sole is underneath the leather, which is nice because you get a streamlined look with a thick, cushy sole. But perhaps that is why the shoe hurts and there isn't enough leather over the toe box to account for the raised sole within. I am giving up on Born after this. Back to Dansko and the barefoot brands.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. I'm sort of grateful for the first bad review because my size didn't sell out as a result (as it usually does), but I have to disagree with the first review. Granted, the shoe is slim and not good for wide feet, but if that is not the case they will fit great (I don't have particularly narrow feet either). They are super comfortable and the leather is very nice. They look beautiful with tights and a skirt or leggings and no socks. Born also added detail to the lightly padded insole with a nice plaid fabric. Just all around awesome.

I love Born, but this shoe isn't up to their usual quality. It runs very small in the toe area even on my narrow foot. If it weren't for that, I'd probably keep this shoe.

These shoes were purchased in anticipation of a business trip that involved walking miles of aisles and wanting to have a little style while doing it. No time for breaking in and no time was needed. They remind me of Capezio jazz shoes. Light on the feet but with structure; well made and versatile. They made me want to hop, skip and jump.

I own these in black size 11. I normal take 10's in born, but they were a bit short. 10.5 would have been perfect. The price here is a bit much. I paid less than 1/2 this price at Nordstrom Rack. Wanted a second pair in the lighter color, but this is way too much to pay.

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous. They are made from beautiful soft leather, and have a slim fit. I disagree with the person who thought they were too expensive. They seem a real bargain to me. I usually wear an 8, and the 8 feels a tad tight, so I am getting an 8½ to compare. These are very classy shoes.

Recently I ordered a pair of Born shoes , confident that the 8 & 1/2 would fit. They didn't! My toes touched the end of the shoe. I called Customer Service to ask to exchange them for a 9. They arrived the next morning -- how was that possible? Rely on Zappos!

Flashy, comfortable and stylish, these Borns are a great addition to any wardrobe! They work easily as a neutral, go-with-just-about-everything shoe, but can just as easily become a statement piece in your ensemble. I wear them with flirty skirts, skinny jeans, ankle-length chinos, shorts...and they are fabulous!

These shoes are really comfortable and seem like they're really great quality. But I thought that the high laces made the toe look almost comically elongated. I only have 7.5 feet, and they looked a tiny little bit like clown shoes.

This shoe is super cute and feminine. I have bunions, and the leather is so soft on these shoes that they don't burt my feet at all. My only complaint (and this is with all Born shoes) is that the foot bed is so narrow. All their shoes are crazy narrow, especially around the arch area. But these are still comfortable, just not much arch support.

These are very comfortable. These shoes have soft leather and soft soles. The heel is rather thin so I would recommend gluing some heel tips so they do not wear down quickly. I found some at my local ShopRite but you can also get a shoe repair shop to do it for you. I had planned to wear these with thick socks but doing so makes them feel too small. I wear them with thin trouser socks and they feel fine.

Love these shoes so far! All leather uppers, perfect fit, love the look. They took a little getting used to as it almost feels like walking barefoot only with soft protection on your feet, but I like that.

I had to return them, because I over-pronate especially when wearing such soft-leather oxfords, and this pair was no different. A shame, because I love the color--the laces are kind of an ugly beige, though.
