I had to return the first pair, too snug on my feet (I wear 8 1/2, went up to a 9). Love the shoes now - were a little stiff at first, I recommend gradually increasing the amount of time you walk in them. Now I hardly wear any other shoe!

I chose to break this shoe in on a 12 hour shift, luckily it turned out well for me. I didn't experience any blisters or even much in the way of foot fatigue. Also, my plantar fasciitis didn't act up as it usually would.

These shoes are fantastic and extremely comfortable. They look great for a casual work look, or with jeans. They didn't have quite enough arch support for me, but I have really high arches so that is hard to get. I had a little discomfort at first when wearing them because of this, but as they break in I am not having this problem anymore. I would definitely recommend these shoes!

I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size up - glad I did. The fit was good. I sent them back only because I found the style to be a bit boring. The leather was beautiful however.

Nice looking, comfortable shoe. It passed the 4 mile walk test, but I haven't yet worn it for really long periods of time. It's a little tight to put on; comes off easily.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, excellent fit, excellent arch support and they don't make my feet as "hot" as might be expected for some leather shoes. Sometimes I have trouble with shoes of this style because I have very high arches, but these have an adjustable velcro strap across the top of the foot along with some elastic that prevent this from being a problem. They look great with jeans, too!

Born is my favorite brand for casual shoes. I'm never disappointed by style, comfort and quality. Add the supreme service of Zappos and there's no reason to go to the mall! Like my other Born's, this pair fits comfortably right out of the box, the style is exactly me, and I'll be wearing them for years. Zappos is like no other online retailer: I had my order in my home less than 24 hours after I placed it, and the shipping was free. Amazing!

I purchased this pair of shoes a couple weeks ago and have been so pleased with them. I needed a pair of shoes that I could wear to and outside of work. They have been great! They are very, very comfortable. I usually wear Clarks, so I was branching out by buying my first pair of Borns and will certainly consider them again. Even though they're leather, they don't get hot and seem to breathe really well. I wear them at least half the week and continue to be happy with them. They fit well and unlike other readers, I don't feel like I'm "swimming around in them." If you need this shoe for everyday living, I highly recommend it.

Comfortable shoe. Nice toe room while the heel area was not too wide. Just right for walking. Would probably want a bit more padding if you had to stand a lot in these.

Like all the Born products I have, I really like these shoes. They are quite comfortable and seem quite durable. They are definitely not a slide in and out of shoe though; their higher back means you need to actually sit down and put your shoes on, which is not something I'm used to.

Wow! This is the first pair of Borns that ran true to my size 7, medium width foot! Usually I have to order a 1/2 size up which I did but this very comfy, lovely shoe (similar to the Clarks un-line), was true to size. Unfortunately, it did not allow for replacing the insert and was a bit too flat; otherwise I would be ordering it in a 7!
