For complete comfort, I typically need more of a heel than the Dorotas provide, but I've found that I can wear these through hours of standing without the heel bruising I expected. They arrive feeling soft and broken in. I haven't had a single blister or uncomfortable day in them and yet they don't look like "comfort" shoes. I find myself reaching for them every other morning and if I see them on sale, I'm absolutely buying a pair in another color.

I thought these shoes were really cute. I got the silver color and it had some bronzy tones to it. The bottom of the shoes are well padded. However, the tip of the shoe pinched my toes so badly I had to return them. Got a size 8 and my feet slipped out unless I was wearing socks.

I love the look of loafers and really really wanted to like these shoes... but there is no support and the 1/2 inch heel is too flat for me. I normally wear 1 inch heels and I can feel the difference in that extra 1/2 inches. They are well made and like my other Born shoes. Sadly I am returning them. :-(

Good quality soft leather. I like the classic and modern styling and a feminine penny loafer. Didn't have to break them in at all. Really comfortable shoe however it has minimum sole support. Fine for casual work or walking around town. Still, it is a nice shoe and I'm considering on buying another pair as a back up.

I love these and thought that they'd work, but they're tight across the 'penny' band, although the rest of the front of the shoe has more room. The heels woudn't stay on. I used to wear a medium shoe with an AA heel; since I don't see anything but sports shoes that are sized that way anymore I'll keep looking. And, as always, I'll keep buying from Zappos because of the great service!

Very nice looking shoe. Runs a bit big. I usually wear a 9.5 to 10, and need wide width depending on the brand. I ordered a 9.5M in this shoe. It fit beautifully, but there's very little support compared to my other loafers (frye reagan campus driver mocs). Due to the thin sole in these Born loafers, walking would become uncomfortable pretty quickly. Thanks for free returns, Zappos!

I was looking for silver metallic...this shoe appeared in my search...the name is misleading, as it is a blend of silver, gold, and bronze mix. Has a well worn antiqued look, which I did like, even though the overall color is misleading. The shoe base is shallow, and heel very low, giving less support than I would like. I could probably live with the color mix, and feel it is close enough to my silver desire. However, the shoe lacks the fuller body, and support I need at this time in my life. Very cute shoe, however.
