I bought these for a winter ski trip and am so excited to wear them. I love the funky look and the comfort and look forward to wearing them in rain and snow in December. The only thing I don't like about them is the strong smell of rubber. I hope this will fade as I wear them more. It is not a show stopper though.

These were an early Christmas present and are absolutely perfect! I love the color (I got purple). They are a good height. They seem to fit wide, but with an insole and thick socks they are comfortable to walk in. I'm looking forward to wearing them often.

I have been searching for a rain boot that keeps my extra-wide feet warm and dry. They would also need to fit over my large calves and be comfortable enough to walk long distances in (I walk at least 6 miles per day). They should be durable, and it would help if they looked nice. I live in rainy Southeast Alaska. Around here, people wear what's called "southeast sneakers" (Xtra Tuf brand rain boots). I've never worn them, though, because they are ugly and I doubt they would fit me. These boots are definitely pretty. They are popular enough here that I wouldn't be surprised if locals started calling them "southeast high-heels." The material used for the upper part of the boot is soft and flexible. It is much more comfortable than the stiff material other boots are made of. This also makes it easier to get them over my large calves. I have to use a special technique: first fold the top down, then stick your foot in and tuck in your pants, then slowly roll the top back up. The shoe part is cushy enough for long distance walking. These boots keep my toes toasty even though I can't wear thick socks with them. My feet sweat in all the rain boots that I've tried, and these are no different. A boot dryer is important. After 2 months of wearing in early winter, a leak developed. I found a rip above my big toe where the decorative ridge is. The other side developed a leak in the heel. The tread is worn out. But keep in mind that I walk 6 miles per day, so they should last longer for normal people. My biggest hesitation in giving Bogs a try was that I couldn't find them in extra-wide widths. I eventually gave in and purchased a pair of the Tuscany style. My pinky toe is a little squished, but not so much that I can't wear these boots. However, both the Lanai and May Flowers styles were too tight and had to be returned. They are perfect for wide feet. Medium width feet might need some thick socks.

I got these boots for Christmas 2 years ago. I feed horses morning and night in the pasture, and when it is muddy and cold, these boots are amazing. They do not suck off ever feet in the mud, and they are completely water proof. By far, the best 'rubber boots I have ever owned. Long story short, my boots came up missing, either by dog, or something else...I am ordering another pair immediately, and shipping overnight, because the other boots I have been having to wear, are just not doing the job.

This is my second pair of Bogs. I use them all winter doing my hobby farm chores. Even down to about -30 they keep my feet warm and dry. They are a little tight around the top, but I do have wide calves.

I just received those boots last night. I ordered size 6 blue. They are fantastic! I usually wear a size 5 or 5.5. So size 6 is slightly bigger but not a problem. I didn't expect the soles of the boots to give me a height boost. That was a pleasant surprise! The boots are very comfortable to walk in and very warm. I tried them on with my leggings and skinny jeans. They're very complementary to my figure and make my legs look super long and lean. I love all the colors on the Bogs rain boots, but picked blue because it's easier to match the my clothes. Overall, it's a fantastic pair of boots, and it makes me a very happy girl!

These are too narrow for the plus size woman. I have a calf that is 16-16½". These boots are snug. I want to be able to tuck my pant legs inside the boots.
