Love the fabric on these shorts for paddling. I usually wear a medium and ordered such, but I am a curvy woman. These are definitely catered more towards the no hips figure. The medium is more of a snug fit and not loose enough to make it comfortable for paddling on a stand up board. So, I will be ordering the next size up.

These shorts fit perfectly! They're not too slim through the thighs, which I find a lot of boardshorts to be. They're also a very good length. Many boardshorts are a couple of inches too short for my preference, so these are great. Love 'em!

Not for tall ladies. These shorts have a very short rise and come below my hip bone. I would help if Zappos posted the rise measurement. Otherwise very nice shorts.

These shorts look great and are very comfortable but the issue I have is with the sizing. I ordered a medium which were too big so I exchanged them for a small which were too small...so I returned them. I wish they had more 'in between sizes'. These otherwise seem like great shorts. I usually wear a 6 size pants and shorts. I did find the O'Neill surf shorts fit me great in a size 7 and will be keeping them.
