I am full in the hips/butt, and this style was not flattering. It's very short torso-ed. I am 5'6" and size 6/8, and the M was too tight, so if you're along my size, I'd try the L first. Gave this 5 stars because it's great, just didn't fit my body type.

I personally have figured out that if you have any flaws or extra weight boy shorts make the flaws more apparent and this short is no different. I ordered a large, normally I would wear a 9\/10 in regular short. I sent this back.

The ladybug color isn't as orange as it appears online, it's a bright, true red. Otherwise, a great boyshort - but the elastic waistband is a bit tight. I think I've got the right size based on the rest of the fit. I'm 5'2", 125, usually wear a 2 or 4 pant.

I haven't bought a swimsuit that made me this happy in a long time and I buy them frequently since living in FLA means you can swim 3 seasons out of 4. Unbelievable quality and fit. I wear a Gap 0/XS about 103lbs and 5'2 and it fit perfect. The ladybug is not a lipstick cherry red but a beautiful raspberry or strawberry red, not a color I see frequently. I will be repurchasing this in another color. Expensive? Yes but wow factors usually are! Sigh.

These shorts are well made but do run small. I'm a 0/2 ordered a small. Be aware that they have a low rise like a swim suit bottom, not like shorts.

I am 5'4 weigh 110 and I normally wear size XS in Victoria's Secret underwear. So because other reviews said these run small, I got a Small... and it fits perfect. I love the quality and the color is so vibrant. I got Azur because it was on sale with free 1 day shipping...and, Wow, Zappos does not disappoint! The only thing is, I haven't worn them in water yet or anything but I got them with the idea of water parks, boogie boarding or running on the beach in mind and so after moving around in my house I noticed that they scrunch up a bit, but I suppose that is to be expected? Oh well, still A+.

These are very cute and comfortable. They have pretty good coverage. I first ordered these in a small as that is the size underwear I wear, but they were a bit snug in the waist so I got a medium instead.

I bought these for my fiancee for our honeymoon. They looked great on her. The only problem was the waistband. The material isn't that elastic and tended to feel/look loose and unflattering at the waistline. They made for better walking around the beach shorts than actual swim trunks.

I have had these bottoms for less than 2 years and they are falling apart. The fabric is pulling away from the seam. Not my favorite bottoms.

Very flattering. I'm small -- 5'2", 102 lb, but bikinis are never flattering. I ordered a small bottom, and it was perfect. (I also tried the xsmall, which was too tight to be flattering.) If you're in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up, so it just skims your curves rather than squeezing them. Overall, a perfect swim suit bottom.

This is actually an update on the review I wrote in June under the same name, Jess. I wore these in a lake and to a water park, and what I noticed both times was that in the water they got a bit loose. In fact, on one ride at the water park I felt like if anyone had goggles underwater they could... you get the point. But out of the water they look great and fit perfectly. So perhaps people say they run small but I kind of wish I went with an XS like I normally wear.
