All-polyester fabric with just a little hint of stretch. Functional pockets. Velcro and eyelet stringed-ties at the waist. I'm 5'2, 110lbs and have a little junk in my trunk so these medium shorts look like they were painted on me, yet they are still quite comfy.

I'm 5'2, 120 pounds, (size 0-2 jeans, size 5 juniors) and the medium was way, way too small. These are cute though. Maybe the large will work?

These shorts are awesome, they are exactly was I was looking for - low waisted, not stretchy. Very comfortable, perfect for a walk on the beach, or walking from my car to the pool. They look like regular shorts, but can be worn in the water. Fit true to size.

These are adorable, I love the length. However, exactly like in the photo, they bunched up in front, perhaps because of the pockets. They ended up looking kind of poufy for that reason and I decided to return them. They are also small in the thighs. I am a generally thin person but the XL just barely fit me. I like the fabric and the piping, and the placket is really clever, there is a special lining to make sure the velcro doesn't eat your swim suit bottoms.

These are very cute and they fit perfectly. I am 5'3", 101 pounds, and I wear an XS. These can be used just a shorts. They are highly recommend.

I am roughly 5'9" and weigh roughly 120-123. I based my decision to order a medium on previous reviews from girls around my weight that said that a medium was too small or either fit perfectly. A medium was way too big on me. Perhaps I should have counted the fact that I am significantly taller than the other reviewers. Am going to return for a small because these are very cute. Girls I would say go with your gut feeling when it goes for size, I wish I would have.
