In response to the first review I have a friend that bought a Fyrkat and the lid had some paint missing and big black spot she called bodum and they told her to keep the one damaged and sent her a new Fyrkat . I love Bodum products. But I think this grill needs a second look before shipping to customers.

I gave this to my son-in-law this Christmas Eve. There is awful quality control on this product. The orange cover was leaking black stuff and the Orange had come off on the lid in big spots/places. I was so upset to have it shipped and delivered in that horrible condition. I was also lucky that the black tar like substance did not get on my rug or cloth sofa. Bodum better get their act together and Zappos should check out quality before shipping. I have been pleased with Bodum products in the past but this was a disaster!
