I bought the orange knife block. In a word, it is awesome. It takes up less counter space than a traditional knife block, and it is so much more stylish.

I love this knife block! It holds so much more than my stodgy old wood block (which I've now given away). It holds blades of every size and you can put them in at any angle you want. Once reviewer said they only went straight in and it didn't handle long blades. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I don't know what product he/she was reviewing. This is just a fantastic item. Extremely useful and great looking too.

I love this product. It looks cool, and takes up less space on the counter than the old wooden block -- while holding up to about 15 knives. And you don't have to fuss putting the right knife in the right slot. Large butcher knives fit fine, and serrated knives are not a problem.

I have found this knife block to be elegantly simple. There's no need to search for the correct slot to place the knife. It's simple to choose where you want it or where it will fit and go. I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

Never, ever will I use a wood knife block again, my daughter bought me 2 red Bodums. I have all my steak knives, butcher knives and paring knives in the 2 blocks and they look lovely and tidy on my kitchen counter. Thank you for inventing this magical gadget. I am so happy...can you tell?
Brands I'd also recommend: Don't know yet but I'm looking.
