A standard feature in all their boots, Blundstone's Shock Protection System® (SPS®) has revolutionized comfort in footwear. SPS® directly reduces workplace fatigue and orthopedic problems in the lower back, legs and feet. Dynamic tests indicate an average 33% reduction in shock transmitted to the leg while at a brisk walking pace. Taking the technology even further, SPS x~tra® adds an additional Poron® strike pad in the heel strike zone for an extra layer of shock protection.

I love my blunnies, all five of them! They are comfortable, durable, and even aesthetically pleasing to me. I wear them from the fall to the spring. This last pair I purchased was to replace the first one I got eight years ago.

I love these boots! The support is not the best so I use Birkenstock slip in supports which create the perfect boot.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and amazingly durable. This is my 5th or 6th pair in the last ten years. I tend to wear them to the office until they're totally scuffed up, and then they become my work boots and I buy a new pair! I will buy them again when I wear through these.

I had never heard of Blundstone before searching zappos for a good on-your-feet-all-day work boot. I read every review several times for a week before ordering. My wife said enough all ready order the boots so I did. I’m so glad I did; thank you!

These have become my daily shoes. So much so that I think my wife is getting tired of seeing them. They're comfy, feel well-constructed, and go with anything less formal than dress slacks. Because I live in the Rockies, I applied two coats of Camp-Dry to provide some weather proofing. That made the leather just a shade darker, but I like the look. I have also noticed that the brushed leather gets distressed or a little polished from where the cuff of my jeans rests on the boot. Since these are casual boots, I don't care about it. (Just mentioning that in case someone cares.) Australian sizes indeed run at least a full size larger than US sizes. I have a very average US size 10 D (medium width), and I bought Australian size 9. The toe box is pretty roomy, and my feet slide around a bit if I wear normal-density socks. I have found that if I wear thicker woolly socks like Smart Wool socks, the boots fit just perfectly. Normal-density socks don't present a problem, but I wouldn't hike or walk rugged terrain without the thicker socks. As to durability, time will tell. I'm an office guy so even though I wear them to work they see no more action than a pair of loafers. For hikes or heavy outdoor labor I'd stick with my Asolo TPS 520 GoreTex hikers. They're a lot more expensive, but they're an outstanding boot. 10 years and still going strong!
