These are my uniform - I live in them. Super stylish, comfortable, and utterly, totally waterproof. The insoles can be removed for a tighter or looser fit. If I have one tiny complaint it's that I have a very, very high instep and for the first few months there's pressure on the top of my foot until these very stiff boots stretch a bit. Trust me - I have a higher instep than you do. Don't ever stop making these or I'll have to go barefoot!

Great boots. I bought these for horseback riding because I did not like the look of most English riding boots. These are great. Love them. I wear a size womens 6 and the 3 worked great. No break in time at all. Will get another pair in brown. They clean up nice no matter what I do to them - dist, mud, water...

I\'m really happy with my new blundstones. They slip on very easy and take just a little more effort to get off. Once they\'re on the feel great and there\'s no heel slip or foot sliding for me. \r\nI\'m a US 14 and got a Blundstone 13. \r\n\r\nGreat Boots!

I had admired a friend's Blundstones for a long time and despite his urgings to get a pair I held off. That was a mistake. These boots were comfortable the first time I pulled them on. I can't imagine what they'll be like once they're broken in! They're still pretty new so I can't really comment on the durability, but I'd imagine they will last me for a long time.

Very comfy, waterproof and great for city trekking or light hiking. Bought these for a two week trip to Scotland/Ireland. Did a lot of walking. My feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable the entire time. Did not require break-in time - wore them right out of the box. The best part is that my orthotics fit in them nicely, so no sore arches at the end of the day! The boots are lightweight and look great with jeans.

If I hadn't had the opportunity to read reviews on this boot by other people, I'd never have tried them. Thank you each reviewer, and thanks to Zappos for permitting the space! I've worn these boots through sand dunes, on the ocean beach, and in the nearby river muck almost daily, and I wish I'd had these boots years ago. They're amazingly comfortable, keep the sand out, are easily cleaned on the bottoms and look as good as such an all-around boot can look. I agree with every good thing other reviewers said about them and, sorry Zappos, but I hope they never wear out! Thanks to all.

Wow! I've liked the Blundstone look for years, so when it came time to replace my daily work shoes, I bought a pair of the 558s. Again, wow! Great fit and comfort, durability is too early to determine, but from all indications they're made to last. They even work for my business casual dress code requirement. So the 558s came in black, now I'm considering the classic 550s in the original brown. The fit is spot on for my slightly wide feet. The very first time I put them on they felt a little tight in the heel; however, the heel cup conforms to your heel as needed and are perfect. Yes, I will be buying more in the future, no doubt.

I had put off buying these boots for a long time because of the price and that was a misake. These are great! Super comfortable and will be great in the bad weather. They seem true to size for a women's size 8. I love them.

These boots are very comfortable. I did not need to break them in. The leather lining, along with the elastic panels, makes them easy to get on and off. The fit is better than I expected. No heel slippage. I used the size conversion chart given. I wear US 10-1/2 this converts to Blundstone 9-1/2. I am very happy with them. Plus great service from Zappos.

These are great boots. The only drawback is they run small for size. I always wear a size 7 in everything, but should have ordered the larger size in these as they only come full sizes. I thought that I just needed thinner socks. Wrong! Really, if they don't fit return for larger size.

Finally found a pair of all-weather boots that fit and look great. Super comfortable with the insert. I\'m not sure if they are made to keep my feet warm, so I ordered a 1/2 size up so I can wear thick socks with them. They feel sturdy around my feet without feeling too heavy. They keep my feet dry on wet, cold days. Haven\'t tried them through a Boston winter to decide if they keep my feet warm. I\'ll rely on my socks for that as long as they keep my feet dry. Love them!

This is my third pair of "Blunnies" and my first pair of black. After a little rubbing on the left Achilles, they broke in quite nicely. I've had trouble getting a proper fit since my 2nd pair (I wear an 8.5, but they don't really have half sizes). This pair came with a thick insole and note that disclaimed the half size discrepancy. The insoles made all the difference and the boots fit perfectly now. I've always loved the rugged look of the brown boot once it was worn in, and it looks like the black will be equally nice. These are classic all weather boots; I even wear them hiking on my travels.

First of all, unbelievable service from Zappos! Had an issue with PayPal, the customer service resolved it right away and upgraded me to VIP status which got me Free Overnight Shipping! Boots showed up next morning! As far as the boots, love them. Super comfortable right away. The upper portion rubs against your upper ankle/calf area, but goes away after a couple of days. Now they are really soft and are great everyday boots. Now I just need a brown pair.

I've been wanting to try a pair of these boots ever since I read the book "Little Brother." Still, I held off for about six months before I actually made the order. I like to think long and hard before I commit this much money for shoes. I've had them for about two months now and I love them! They were much lighter than I thought they would be. The fit is perfect for me. The sole is pretty flexible. It does not feel like there is any shank inside to stiffen it up, but I think that is a good thing. These are not work boots or hiking boots; they are street boots and they are perfectly suited to the job of hitting the bricks all day. I'm on my feet a lot throughout the day so I've been putting the boots to the test. My only negative thought is that they seem a bit warm. My feet seem to get a little hot in them, but I like to wear merino wool socks and that could be part of my problem. I also think it might have something to do with the lining. I remember the original Blundstones were unlined. I also read reviews on them that said the boots seemed a little overpriced for something with just raw unlined leather inside. I'm thinking the unlined version probably breathes a little better than the lined version. If I decide to get another pair, I'll try the unlined version. All in all I think these boots are fantastic. They look great and just keep looking better the more broken in they get. They are so comfortable to wear that I am still telling my wife every few days just how awesome I think these boots are. If you are on the fence about getting these, just do it! Worth every penny because I know I'm going to get many years out of these boots and my feet will be very happy.
