Really nice boots! My first pair of 'every day boots' and they have become my favorite footwear. They are comfortable and easy to wear; stylish and practical.

I finally had to write to express how dissatisfied I am with these boots. Mainly because I know they usually get really good reviews. I originally got the size 8.5 which pinched the top of my arch so much when I first tried them on that I exchanged them for the 9's. The 9's are pretty loose which is odd for me because 9's usually fit me well. These 9's are too long and float around on my feet, so much that I keep stubbing the toe of them on carpet and I have to wear thick socks. The soles squeak a lot on marble and tile floors. More than sneakers. The finish came off them within the first month and the unpolished boot has a greenish gray hue to it. It looks like I just mowed the lawn.

I ordered the boots and asked for a US size 11. They were huge. I normally wear that size. They felt so much bigger. Had to send them back and get a size smaller. Thank goodness for Zappos being so cool about the returns.
I'd also recommend: Red Wing

This show runs 2 full sizes too big. I normally wear a women's 10 1/2 or 11. Or a men's 8 1/2 or 9. I wear a women's 9 in this shoe. I had to send it back twice - buyer beware. It is a great boot, once you get the right size. It is slightly wide toed - good for folks with broad feet. I love Zappos!

Awesome looking, comfortable, a little clunky, but ok for guys, warm, and go with everything dressy and casual.

Insanely-comfortable boots. Hardly any break-in period. I read other reviews and opted to get a half-size smaller than I would normally get and they fit perfectly!
