I wanted an everyday comfortable loafer and I liked the idea of a little lift in the heel. These are very roomy & I have a slightly wide foot. I checked the box to make sure they sent the right shoe as this never happens to me. In the photos, I really didn't notice the extra fabric that goes around the entire shoe. In person, you do. I'm on the verge of thinking that they are a little matronly although surprisingly they looked pretty good with boyfriend jeans, but that's about it. I feel like I would have a hard time keeping them on my feet, so I'm sending them back.

I had to send the first pair back because they were too large in my usual size. I gad to go down half a size and they are a tad on the loose side still but they stay on. I wore them walking quite a bit on vacation and found them to be pretty comfortable. I like the look because they are a little different. They do look good with jeans and I have also worn them with capris. I think maybe for this price they should not have glue visible around the sole, but overall I like them and wear them at least once a week.

Thought these were going to be perfect - so soft. But they stretched out almost immediately and I couldn't keep them on my feet! Back they go!
