Bloch loved watching ballet and visited many dance studios. At one such studio, he noticed a young dancer who was having trouble staying on pointe. Bloch promised he would make her a better pair of shoes, and so he did. After that, Bloch´s reputation for making good dance shoes spread rapidly.
At Bloch, the respect the company has for its clients' art is infinite. Contributing to a dancer's artistry, in even the slightest way is the ultimate Bloch goal. Admittedly jealous of their clients' artistic ability, Bloch is proud to contribute confidence and beauty through the best dance footwear in the world.

These shoes are great. I've never owned a pair of jazz dance sneakers before, but I did try out another pair of Blochs--despite the fact that they were too small, I also didn't feel they handled jumps and pivoting as well as these do (they were rated very well, though). I would definitely recommend them!

Love these...very comfortable and light for dancing. With Bloch I always buy 1 or 1 and a half sizes bigger than my regular shoe size.
I'd also recommend: Blochs are the best .. and so is Zappos!

The perfect shoe for studio dance. Excellent support for being very light weight. I have received a lot of compliments- a great looking shoe that fits like a glove.

Finally found the perfect shoe for Zumba! The hi-top style provides solid ankle support without chafing or irritation while the high-density pivot point allows you to truly twist, turn, and slide with ease...but not so much that you wind up practicing your splits! I have flat feet and bunions and even without insoles, my feet were ready for more after a high impact Zumba class. No issues on dance studio floor or the foam mats that I use in the room where I workout at home. Just wish they would add some more colors!

Love these sneakers; very cute and fashionable and would be perfect for zumba since the bottoms seem great for dance and sliding, but way too small. I’m normally 7.5 in sneakers but need an 8. Hopefully that will work. Toe box is narrow and the shoe is short overall. I’m a 7 in dress shoes. Inserts do not come out. Trying the Ryka Transitions and 7.5 seemed a good fit.
I'd also recommend: Ryka
