The Sienna is a very pretty shoe. I don't often see this dainty and sexy look in a shoe with a heel lower than 3 inches. But Sienna hit the mark. The Sienna is only 2'14; with a block-type heel so I feel secure, even with its strappy style. I was concerned about the straps on the toe cutting into the side of my foot, and the M width did feel a bit tight across the widest part of my foot the first time I wore them. But they stretched out a bit, because the second time I wore them they fit like a dream, making it through 3 hours of dancing beautifully. The padding is adequate that I didn't even need a gel pad under the balls of my feet. BTW, I'm a beginner ballroom dancer and have never worn another brand. I bought my first pair of Bloch in a store and now know my size, so I felt confident ordering from Zappos (I order a full size larger than my normal size 9M). I now own three pairs of Bloch; the Split Flex, Simona and the Sienna. The Sienna is the sexiest of the three and I love wearing it when I have on my little black dress!

Because it was recommended to do so, I ordered a full size bigger than my normal size. This, however, was not necessary; I ended up with my usual size. A very comfortable shoe right from the start. I’m very happy with them.

These are among my most comfortable heels. Very cute, great for ballroom dancing, and no blisters! I wish they made them in white, I'd wear them to my own wedding.

Both pairs of Bloch’s are at least 1 size smaller than stated size. I wear an 11M. The Sienna is a fabulous shoe, and I would love to own it, but my toes hang over the front and the width is narrow than a medium. Great quality.

I was looking for a comfortable and dressy shoe. My search seemed hopeless until I had the light bulb thought to look at ballroom dance shoes. The downside was the suede bottoms. I wanted these shoes for normal use. Problem solved. I found a shoe repair shop that put "normal" soles on the shoes. I plan to have a great time on New Year's Eve - dancing up a storm.

This is a lovely shoe, very well-crafted! I love how the heel is wider, offering more support and stability. And I love how you can wear the ankle strap in different ways. Plus the self-locking buckle is awesome. I have narrow feet, so I'm also really glad that this shoe actually fits me! A lovely, versatile dance shoe!

Fabulous, comfortable shoe. The bottom of this shoe is suede, which as a newbie dancer, I was not expecting. This is a good thing though! It makes turning and dancing easier. You can't wear these shoes outside because of that though. The only pitfall is that I find the heel sort of ugly. All dancing shoes I looked at were ugly to me though.

I absolutely love these shoes! I'm new to ballroom dancing and had no idea what it is I needed. On top of that I have narrow feet which made dancing shoe shopping difficult since I was told that I don't want them too loose. So, I talked to a few professional and semi-professional ballroom dancers and they gave me tips on how to fit myself for a pair of dancing shoes. Thank goodness for Zappos and its great CS! Okay, I normally wear a street size 7 and ordered a 7, 7.5, and an 8 (based on other reviewers to size up). With the size 7, my toes are all the way up to the edge, but not over. In normal street shoes, that would be an indication that the shoes are too short. Next 2 sizes up would have given me the length but they were too wide. After speaking to the dancers, I realized the size 7 was the proper fit. You want your toes to get as close to the top edge as possible without going over. You want the shoes to be fitted, but not snug (your feet will expand when you dance), and you want a nice and secure ankle strap. These shoes fit all the bills. These shoes were so comfortable! On my first night with them, I danced for 3 hours straight, no pain at all at the balls of my feet. I did get a little blister at the back of my ankles where the new leather rubbed, but that happens with just about all my new shoes as I have very sensitive skin. Nothing a little bandaid won't fix. I'm used to wearing heels, so the 2 1/4 in was not an issue for me. I could have gone higher. I might with my next pair. I highly recommend these shoes. They are not only comfortable but they are sexy looking! I got the nude and it goes with everything!

Brands I'd also recommend: No clue, I\'m too new :) But my dancer friends recommended Very Fine for practice shoes.

I am 64 years old. The most comfortable shoe for dancing all night ever. Sexy and pretty, too. Lots of compliments. However, order up a half size.

These are nice shoes. I bought them for Salsa. My perfect shoe was Capezio Peggi which is not made anymore. These shoes are just a tiny bit big, but are very comfortable. I use moleskin for that. The heels are very sharp. I have kicked myself. I prefer a smaller heel, even though most dancers prefer this height or higher.

I really like these shoes for my beginning tango classes. I never wore heels before, so that was a problem in addition to trying to tango. Further, sandals usually hurt my little toe. I am happy to report that these sandals don\'t hurt my toes and have a very stable heel that is not too high but doesn\'t look like it belongs on a fourth grader, either. The size was on target. I wear a 7, ordered a 7, and the shoes fit. At first the so-called speed buckle was a pain to fasten but it got easier and now I can fasten by touch which is convenient. If you like to dance in heels, but don\'t want a very high heel, these are good shoes.

I call these my magic dancing shoes! We started ballroom lessons and didn't take the plunge right away for shoes, but these make all the difference. The suede bottoms give plenty of slide and glide action, and the ankle strap makes you so confident that you're not going to lose a shoe in the middle of a turn. The heel height and width was perfect; not too high, not too skinny. A really solid feeling on the dance floor. The fit was great, but I usually need a wide shoe, so they may be too wide for a narrow person. I love the larger sizes that Zappos.com offers. This is my new "shoe store."
