I saw these in a magazine in a different color and had to have them for Zumba. Where I take class the floors are wood and I get kind of stuck when I try to pivot or turn (I was wearing cross-trainers) and these shoes actually help me turn! I have gotten tons of compliments in the gym on the colors, especially the soles.

I own several pairs of Bloch sneakers. I use them for Zumba classes. I always am looking for a cute, hip pair of shoes for class. These are very comfortable and appear wider than other styles in the toe area. I love the multi colors and especially the sole. These were comfortable right out of the box. I am so happy that Bloch continues to add new styles. I normally buy 1 1/2 sizes up but I think 1 size up in this style is fine.

Just love these. Absolutely love the colors, love the fit and they work well for Zumba. Especially well. They are light, bright and many people I have met along the way wish to purchase these.

I have tried several shoes for Zumba and dance aerobics (New Balance, Nike, Rika). None worked to my satisfaction...hard to turn, and/or not enough stability or arch support for me. I also found many were too wide for my foot...although I am a B width. So I tried the dance shoe... Duh! I had a pair of the Bloch split sole shoes, http://vip.zappos.com/bloch-boost-drt-mesh-sneaker-black, and hated the lack of lateral stability. This shoe meets all of my requirements!! Thanks to the Zappos staff for guiding me to a half size up. Just right for me. I wear very thin socks, and want a close fit for a dance shoe, perfect! And turning is smooth as silk...amazing! Yes, this is not an all purpose shoe and I will not wear them off the dance floor... Just sayin'.

Sadly, I had to return these shoes because they were at least one-half size smaller than marked, and they don't come in sizes larger than a 10. What a shame, as I loved everything about them!

About Bloch
Bloch loved watching ballet and visited many dance studios. At one such studio, he noticed a young dancer who was having trouble staying on pointe. Bloch promised he would make her a better pair of shoes, and so he did. After that, Bloch’s reputation for making good dance shoes spread rapidly.
At Bloch, the respect the company has for its clients' art is infinite. Contributing to a dancer's artistry, in even the slightest way is the ultimate Bloch goal. Admittedly jealous of their clients' artistic ability, Bloch is proud to contribute confidence and beauty through the best dance footwear in the world.

For me, these shoes are far more comfortable than any other dancing shoe with a substantial structure. They also have a great turning sole, and they're pretty cute. If you dance a lot, they are perfect.

I have tried 3 other dance/ Zumba sneakers and none of the worked for me. They were either too heavy (the ones with thick split sole) or they made my feet hurt (I have a high arch). These were perfect. The sole is awesome and it even worked on carpet. I wear fit 9.5 wide or 10. I ordered 10 and they fit perfectly. I have had them for 2 months now, doing Zumba 5-6 times a week and still love them. I truly recommend them. The colors are cute too. :-)

After reading other reviews, I ordered one full size larger than I wear. Perfect! I would recommend this. These are great for Zumba, however, be careful what surface you are dancing on. On a gymnasium floor they can be slick but they are meant to help you move with ease and they sure do! I love them!

I got these shoes for Zumba and I get many compliments on them. The smooth bottom makes it easy to turn. I do Zumba on carpet & I was having problems with my knees prior to getting these shoes but no more! I do slide around a bit, but it's not a problem for me; however, some people may not like that. The shoes run about a 1/2 size too small. I wear a 10 but could have used a 10 1/2, sadly they only go up to 10, but they are still comfortable.

Pros: unique sole of this shoe is perfect for twisting/sliding/spinning in Zumba or other dance. Before getting this shoe my knee felt strained in Zumba, now I can easily twist my foot on the floor without getting stuck and straining my joints. Cons: Shoe runs small and fits narrow at the ball of foot and toe. Upper seems to be made of cheap materials--even when tightly laced, the upper stretches and fits loosely around the top of foot. I bought the pink/purple, the colors are ugly and clownish. I would never wear this shoe for anything but Zumba/dance. All that said, the negatives of this shoe are worth it to me because the sole is so good for sliding, I think these shoes are protecting my knees from injury.

These shoes have become my favorite Zumba shoes with a little breaking-in, even though the first few times I had to be careful as the bottoms are so slick. They are great for turning and twisting the foot, but a little challenging on side stepping. We dance on a smooth wood floor. Because of previous comments, I ordered a size 9½ (I wear between an 8½ and a 9) and the fit is perfect for me. I love the purple/green color, too.

I ordered these not only for a zumba class I take but also a dance aerobics/weight training class. I really like them. At fist I was nervous because they were really slippery and I wasn't used to such little traction, but once I got adjusted they are perfect! I can pivot and move and my feet don't get stuck. I would definitely recommend these. I normally wear an 8 in tennis shoes and I bought an 8 in this too. Most reviews said to go up a size but I feel like this 8 is pretty true to its size. It may be just a tad tight but I like that considering I'm doing all kinds of moves and jumps etc. Plus I figure they will stretch out over time as most shoes do when we break them in. By no means do they feel too small.

Definitely buy them at least 1/2 to 1 size larger. I normally wear an 8 1/2, sometimes 9. I bought the 9.5 and when I took them out of the box, they were laced so tightly, I could not put them on. I had to spend at least 5 minutes tugging on those laces to wear I could finally put them on. They may be still a bit snug so I put on thinner socks and went to Zumba class. They seem very responsive to all the pivots and turns, and quick steps. Hopefully they will stretch a bit.

Everybody else seems to like this shoe, but for me it's a total loser. It's at least a half if not a whole size too small. I wear a 9 street shoe and a 9.5 athletic shoe, I could not even get my foot into the 9.5 with a sock on. Very narrow, short toe box, no lateral support (for Jazzercise and Zumba lunges). The only thing I really like about it is the non-treaded sole, much better for indoor aerobic workouts.

I love this shoe for Zumba(R)! I usually size up a 1/2 size, but in this style I went up one full size (shoe a tiny bit narrow). This shoe is almost weightless, and the sole is great for dance moves. I love the color combination. Zappos was great in facilitating a speedy exchange of sizes. Go for it!

I'm a Zumba instructor, and I typically tell people to avoid "dance sneakers," which have traditionally been thick, split-sole style dance shoes not really intended for aerobic exercise, so I bought these figuring I'd likely need to send them back. Initially, they were very slippery (I teach on a wood floor), but after a few wears, they are absolutely perfect. They grip when they need to grip and slip when they need to slip. They don't offer arch support, and the sole is relatively thin - but this is ideal for my foot. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I got these for Zumba. They are very comfortable. I had to go a full size bigger. I usually wear a wide, but with the size up the width is ok. I love how there is a little lift in them. My last pair of zumba sneakers were very flat. This is not the case with these. The sole has a hard piece of plastic on the pivot point. I find them very slippery. The more I wear them, the more worn in they are getting, and are not slipping as much. All in all, I love these sneakers.

These work great for Zumba and Jazzercize -much better than a running shoe. They are comfortable, but have really no arch support. I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit great.

I got these shoes because of the reviews that said they were good for zumba, and they are right. I can turn without hurting my knee (I have knee problems), they're comfortable, pretty. Love these shoes!

Because of other reviews, I ordered a half size bigger than I normally do. It fits great! They are snug, but comfy. I use them for Zumba only, so I only have them on for about an hour or so at a time. They work really well for Zumba. Zappos service is so great too, and fast!
