My 5 year old loves these. Her feet are wide so sometimes we have trouble finding specialty shoes. We ordered these in a wide width, she says they're comfortable and they seem to fit true to size. The bow is decorative, they actually close with a snap.

My daughter normally wears a size 12.5m street shoe so I ordered a size bigger 13.5. Its a little bigger than what I would have liked but she will have plenty of room to grow. Don't feel the shoe is to narrow, the with about average. Also I agree with the other reviews, very cute and has the elastic where you tie the shoe so it stays on.

Ordering from Zappos is everything that's right with online shopping. Huge selection, in-stock items, and fast service. My order was shipped the day I placed it, and my daughter had her new tap shoes by Friday for dance class, even though I didn't order them until Wednesday. Oh, and I chose ground shipping. No shipping upgrades, and they still arrived like I had paid for 2nd day. I absolutely will continue to shop at Zappos!

Exactly what I was looking for in a tap shoe for my 4 year old just starting tap class. They are comfy, cushy on the sole and the snap closure is perfect. They might run a bit small, or my daughter's feet grew.

Good shoe. These would have been fine but I decided to keep the very similar Capezio tap shoe. The Bloch was prettier in that it has a patent heel, but the elastic fastening on this shoe was too loose for my daughter.

Good quality sturdy shoe, the tie is removable, the width is accurate, and the lining is soft and cushioning. My daughter loves these dance shoes.

I bought 2 pairs of these tap shoes for my 3 year old twins. They fit them perfectly. They are so comfortable that both girls want to wear them all the time! No blisters like some dance shoes. And not too narrow which I have found common in dance shoes as well.

I loved these shoes, but to me they did tend to run small. My child was wearing 8 1/2 to 9 shoes, and she probably needed a 10 in these. I will be ordering another pair to replace these now because they are too small. I love how they have the elastic with the snap under the shoe string. I would highly recommend this shoe.

Wahoo! Finally found a tap shoe to fit my 3 year old daughter! This shoe is shaped more appropriate for a child with its wider toe box. Like that the heel is detailed patent too!

We first ordered Capezio tap shoes, but even the wide size was extremely narrow. We exchanged them for the Bloch wide tap shoe and this is much truer to size. Our daughter loves them and we definitely plan to order them again as her foot grows.

These are great little tap shoes. I got them for my 4½ year old and she was thrilled to start tapping in them. I love that they have an elastic snap that secures them and then the laces to give it the traditional tap shoe feel. You can remove the laces but they do not bother us so we keep them on. My girl wears somewhere between a 10 and an 11 depending on the shoes so I went with the 11 so she would have room to grow. They are a good fit so I would say they probably run true to size.

These are cute shoes! Great tapping, great price, and wider than Capezio's version (much more comfortable for my three year old's wide feet). I think tap shoes are generally suppose to fit snugly, and that is true for these.
