Good shoe for ballet workouts - I bought this shoe for ballet DVD workouts ("Balletone," "Ballet Boot Camp," etc.) Previously I did these routines barefoot, but later in the day my feet would hurt. Doing these workouts in the Bloch ballet shoes has given me foot support and a much more enjoyable workout. I recommend these shoes to anyone doing barre exercises, dancer or not. The shoes become more comfortable the more I wear them, as they contour to my feet.

Fabulous! These shoes are so soft - the leather is great, very comfortable overall. I would say to order 2.5 sizes smaller than your street size for women, though, and stick with B width unless your feet are quite wide - I had to buy a C because B wasn't available and they are a bit wider than I would like them to be.

Bloch Dansoft - Great Value, Great Quality - The perfect shoe for my daughter's dance routine in the school play. They are great quality and fit perfectly. I plan to order a pair for myself to wear as house slippers. They look and feel great.

Great shoes for dance class, good multi-purpose shoe - The key to making this shoe work is in the fit. In this case, to get the right size means ordering 3 sizes smaller than one's normal street shoe size. As comfy as they are, I would not really recommend these for doing housework - (I have been dancing over 20 years). The person who gave these ballet slippers a bad review should re-try them in a dance environment in the proper size and see how the shoes work. Thanks Zappos, keep up the great work!

Great shoes - These are a great dance shoe but fit is key, for my daughter we went up a half size from her street shoe size(in girls sizes). They have been a great shoe and have lasted her all year. Very durable. I can't believe they are as expensive as they are on this web site. I purchased mine at a dance retail store for less plus a discount was offered for dancers. I would definetely recommend shopping at a dance retailer to buy shoes since the fit for dance shoes is so important. A correctly fit dance shoe can make a huge difference!

Cute slippers - I ordered this for a house shoe. I would suggest that you order a half size larger than the recommended sizing, unless you don't mind the shoe being a little small until it breaks in. I feel that a good shoe should not have to be broken in if its the right fit.

I love this little shoe, but make sure you order your street size (or 1/2-size larger, even), rather than smaller as other ballet shoes require. This is a great adult begginer shoe. Reasonably priced, has a cute daisy liner.

Great little beginner shoe. You may be able to find this shoe a little cheaper elsewhere, but if you must order online, Zappos' QUICK shipping and FREE return policy makes the little extra cost well worth it. I had to order TWO sizes down (not 3 as suggested).

Shoe Review- Shoe is not true to size- runs rather small. However, if you take lessons/and-or rehearse often, it will stretch. The first few practices will be slightly painful though.

Very strange fit... I went down two sizes as other reviewer’s recommended but that might have been too much. If I was going to order these shoes again, I would subtract 1 1/2. The fit was the strangest thing; they were tight in the toes but gaped out across the ball of my foot. I didn't see any way to make them work.

Bloch "slipper" great little slipper - Adorable little shoe. I am using them for Tai Chi so although I didn't go as small as suggested, I did go smaller than my street shoe size. They do the job of allowing me to "feel" the floor. I don't reccomend them as house slippers though, as someone said they planned on using them for. Great shoe GREAT service

Ballet slippers - We bought these slippers in white for a bride! She has very wide feet so we knew any typical shoes would not prove to be comfortable. These shoes run true to size as far as Bloch is concerned. You need to go one size smaller than street shoe. I would go with a normal width even though you might have a wide foot because they stretch. I find them durable and comfortable as well.

Excellent Choice - I've only recently started taking dance classes and these shoes have been a great buy. I love that Zappos offers a wide selection in wide shoes. Elastic lace allows you to make sure the shoe fits snuggly without coming off or being too tight. Would buy again.

Ballerina Slipper - The slipper was very, very wide, and it's supposed to be a "B" width. It should have been labeled "EE" width. The slippers must be returned.

Comfy-o-rama - Wasn't sure I would be okay with fit, but completely love them! Ordered 1 1/2 smaller and it seemed to be perfect. Like the fit and comfort, and I am not a dancer. Just use them for light wear.
