Before I ordered my shoes, I had read the other comments about the shoes. Those comments were really helpful. I did order a half size larger than I normally wear. Good choice. Also, I was a little bit concerned about the "medium" width, as I have a narrow foot. The shoes fit good and were not too wide for me. So, I am thinking that maybe they might run a little narrower than a lot of shoes these days. (Which was great for me). The biggest thing I had to adjust to was the heal height. It’s a little higher than I normally wear, but I love the shoes. The sole allows you to move freely on the dance floor without being too slippery, as a hard soled shoe would. Am very pleased! I would have dance the night away in the shoes if my husband hadn’t stepped on my foot. Ha. Ha. Anyway, can’t wait to go dancing again.

I LOVE these shoes! You may have to order a half size larger because they are slightly more fitted. These shoes are very easy to dance in and still give you enough traction to stay on your feet. I can almost say these were more comfortable than heeless shoes.

These shoes are comfortable, but tragically unattractive. I'd call these granny shoes, except my grandmothers wore much more stylish shoes than these. Although the side profile is nice, they come up way too far on the top of the foot and just look odd from above. I do like the silver buckle, though. They definitely run a half size small, so order up.

Excellent shoe. I was looking for a comfortable tango pair of shoes and closed-toe street shoes I can use with skirts and these are perfect. I initially ordered half a size larger as recommended by other reviewers but these shoes felt too large on my skinny 5.5 feet, so I ordered my regular size and the fit was perfect. I agree with the other reviewers that the toe box makes the toes feel cramped; however, I found the leather to be very soft and stretchy and once you get going the shoes feel comfy. It helps too if you keep you toe nails nice and trimmed. On the first use I was up and about the streets sockless and these shoes were simply amazingly comfortable, but even more so with no-show socks.

Very comfortable shoe that runs very small. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but had to get a 9 1/2 to fit comfortably. Heel height is perfect.

This would be a very comfortable shoe, soft and supportive, could be the best I've had in a long time, if it wasn't for being a 1/2 size too small. I am usually a very comfortable size 6, so I ordered the shoes online but after an hour of wearing it my toes are killing me, they are so cramped. I cannot return it now, don't even have the box left so hope they fit my mom.

Nice looking shoe, but definitely runs small and narrow. Did need to return after trying on and wearing for a short time in my office on carpet. They were simply too narrow and pinched my toes.

I ordered a half size larger as recommended - I normally wear a 5.5 M and got a 6 M. Unfortunately the fit felt too loose. Will be returning them and getting something else since 5.5 isn't offered right now. Too bad...otherwise I loved the shoe.

These shoes are fabulous! They are very comfortable. I did listen to the other revues and ordered up half a size. They really fit true to size and mine are a little large but I decided to keep them anyway! You can dance in them all night and still have happy feet!

As indicated by other reviews, these run about a half size small. Contrary to other reviews, I found arch support to be non-existent. I will wear them with additional arch support. They're fairly cute, fairly comfortable, and will work well for their intended purpose.

I hated these shoes! I had read the reviews and expected them to not love their look but hoped to be able to dance in them. It hurt so bad I was only able to wear them for 30 min! Will not buy anymore Bloch shoes. The size was small and I did order a 1/2 size larger but still uncomfortable!

I just received these shoes, so I am not sure how I will like them in the long run. At this moment, having just put them on out of the box, I would say that they are just fine. I feel my toe is a bit cramped from the top of the shoe, but I am hoping that the shoe will stretch. I wear either a 7.0 or 7.5, and these are 7.5, fitting well. If I were to order size 8, the shoe will be very big, so there's no point of getting a larger size. I've tried other bloch shoes which were 7.5, and after dancing twice, they stretched to size 8, and I could not wear them any more. So I am hoping these will stretch just as much as I need them to. As for arch support, I agree with those who said that there is none of it. In terms of style, my preference will be for a slightly thinner heel and a slightly pointier toe area. I feel at the moment that they are more like character shoes than tango shoes, but I will be dancing Argentine tango and ballroom with them, and I hope that they last.

Unliked other MaryJane style shoes, this one is looks very stylish and shapes your leg. However, they are relatively new and the heel has worn off, which is disappointing.
