These are very comfortable, beautiful shoes. They are worth the price. For me, they ran one whole size small, so size up. I have very narrow feet so they are a little wide, but it's not too problematic.

For a really snug fit I would recommend ordering your street size. Problem with the tight fit is that the toes will probably wear through faster. I am an adult size 6.5 and ordered a 7. Still a good fit, but toe area is not stretched out as much as with the 6.5. Have used these for recital only and they already show considerable wear and spots where it looks like the color is fading, but no holes.

Love the grip on these shoes. The heel support is amazing. Like everyone else, runs a size bigger.

This was my first experience with dance sneakers. I have a hobbit-shaped foot (broad across the ball; narrow in the heel). I chose this one because it had a fair number of reviews from people with width issues who liked it compared with like shoes. I normally wear a 10.5 in sneakers and other flat shoes (on the rare occasion that unicorn size is available) and an 11 in most other women's shoes and boots. It is reasonably comfortable given that my foot size and shape doesn't really exist in women's ready to wear--not too tight across the toe, not too slippy in the heel. I ordered the 12 based on other reviewers suggestions and it was the right size with a light sock. If I wanted to wear a heavy sock I might go up another half size. The support is adequate and the pivot it great (no more tweaking my knees unnecessarily!). I wear them on a hard wood floor and have no problems with slipping. The insoles come out and you could easily substitute a thin orthotic; again, I'd consider going up another half size for a bulky one. I've only worn it twice and can't speak to longevity, but it seems like a sturdy well constructed shoe.

I wear a size 4 street shoes, so I think I should have ordered a size 4D. Instead I ordered a size 3.5 C. However, I like the way it feels snuggly on my foot. I have a a high arch.

Perfect for a wider foot, especially one with bunions. The reviews are correct in suggesting a full size larger.I ordered a 1/2 size found it to be just on the verge of being too small.

Perfect shoe for dancing! I tried two other Bloch and this one has the most support! I'm usually a size 9 but I got a size 10 and it fits perfectly!

I love my Zumba sneaker dancing shoes. It gives you an easy move when dancing, especially turning around. It has a good arch support as well. When you order just make sure it is 1/2 size bigger of your regular shoe size.

I have been purchasing this dance sneaker from Zappos for many years. I wear a size 10 shoe, but size 11 in this Bloch shoe. It's the only dance sneaker that I would buy, and I recommend it to others.

I have been wearing Blochs for years! I absolutely love Blochs! They run small but once you find your correct fit, you will never wear anything else for dance or Zumba! I normally wear a 9½ in all other shoes and I have multiple feet issues. I purchased this specific design because of the mesh front. I have bunions, plantar fasciitis , and morton's neuromas so a less constrictive front is important to me. I purchased a size 11 and 11½ but the 11 was perfect. I use them for Zumba as well as ballroom so I need a great shoe that will not wear quickly and will not lose its shape either. I strongly recommend they be carried to your class; do not wear them to putter around or you will stretch them out too quickly and will be disappointed. This is my third pair in 10 years, I think that is an amazing track record!

Love them! I wear a 10 and they fit perfectly. If you wear a half size you can get a size down since they stretch. Great for barre class but not for Pilates since the heel won't slide. Highly recommend!

I wanted to love these - I've had Bloch dance shoes in the past. But when I wear these for my barre classes they actually hurt my feet. The heel cup slips all the time and I have to readjust it and the toe pads move and feel like they're burning the bottom of my feet. I've only worn them 3 times, so I'm going to give it a few more tries to see if they just needed some breaking in, but they didn't give me the best first impression.

I wear these shoes for jazzercize and they work great. They are very cute on and super comfy and have plenty of support. I normally wear an 8- 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 1/2 and they are perfect.

These are very comfortable but I don't know how people dance for very long in them. Because they're so stretchy, they don't stay put doing turns or anything across the floor. I can do barre warm-ups in these just fine, but as soon as we're traveling in class, I have to stop and adjust these constantly because they slide around my feet. Super big bummer because otherwise these are pretty perfect.

I ordered a half size larger than my normal size 8.5 but my toes were to the end of the size 9 shoe. I had to go up to a size 9.5 so I think this should work. I should have listened to the reviews that were posted. When the size 9 arrived today I could tell that they did not look not a normal size 9. Sigh.

My zumba & belly dance teacher encouraged me to look for a shoe that would work better than a regular sneaker for the pivoting, toe-pointing, etc that is done in dance. After reading the reviews on this shoe, I ordered it & I am extremely pleased with it. It does fit a full size smaller as I am normally a 7 1/2 & ordered the 8 1/2. It fits fine, although I probably would be fine with the 9 as well. I have a huge arch so support was essential. This shoe delivers on that point & it is just so comfortable. So glad I got it! As someone else said, it would be nice to have the same model with bright colors. Love it!

I love the design and these would have been great if there wasn't a design flaw, I was planning to use these for Barre classes for foot support and to protect the bottoms of my feet. Unfortunately, like another user mentioned, the strap is way too tight and is not adjustable so I can't use them. The shoe part fit true size and the toe holes were comfortable. Too bad!

My purpose for these shoes was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed supportive sneakers with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6½-7 WW street shoe. This shoe seems perfect so far. There is just enough pivot, they are wide enough without excess length, lightweight, and with just enough rigidity in the sole to admit my personal insole selection. I think the insole is pretty cushy, but I might need the high point of the arch a little further back. The original insole is glued in, so I am going to try it, and only rip it out if I find I need to. I also like that it is mostly black but not all black - it suits the casual style I am pursuing for my dance class.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6.5-7 WW street shoe. This shoe was very narrow for me, and the pivot point at the ball of the foot was a little too hard, and made a distracting clacking noise on the wood floor.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6½-7 WW street shoe. I found this shoe very comfortable, with just the right pivot, wide enough without being too long. I wore this for one class and really liked it, but alas, the next day I had a lot of pain in the arch of my foot. The split sole construction does not work with an orthotic or other firm insole, so with regret I had to clean up the sole and return it.

Nice looking shoe, great color and comfy, but...the soles have hardened and turned slippery after just a few months of light use! These are unlike my other Blochs which have lasted years.
