Second pair of Zumba shoes - After 2 years of 3 Zumba classes per week, my old jazz shoes couldn't do another mambo. I read the many reviews of the Blochs written by instructors and decided to give them a try. I love them! The fit is perfect (normal size 9, bought a 10) and they are more comfortable and have much better support than my previous non-Bloch pair.

I love my Blochs! With them and a tip from a dance teacher who reminded me to keep my knees, when bent, pointed over my middle toes, I no longer have knee pain after Zumba class. \r\n\r\nI wasn\'t sure what size to order, so called Zappos for more info. The woman I spoke with suggested a 10 1/2, which fit perfectly. I normally wear a 9 and have a widish foot (with bunions).

Zappos was terrific. My sneakers arrived within 4 days, they were exactly what I wanted and the no fee shipping and return policy is exceptional. Wouldn\'t shop online any other way.

This shoe is great and flexible. However, I am very disappointed with the quality. After dancing once or twice a week for a month the inside started separating. Now, after two months the shoe is losing its form. These are so comfortable but I just can't depend on them so I just ordered new shoes of another brand.

I love the quality of these shoes. I normally wear a size 9 but my toes hit the end of the shoe. So I ordered a 9 1/2 which was better but only left about 1/4 inch. I am reordering a size 10 only because if the shoe fits I know I'll love them. Zappos has amazingly fast shipping and great customer service!

I got this mostly for salsa dancing. I already had an Aris Allen 30's T strap with 3 inch heels, and wanted to have something more revealing and sexy with lower heels for comfort. It looks so sexy and cute on. I loved the thick, stable-but sexy low heels. Style-wise, my only complaint is that the sole in front of the toe sticks out a little too much in a pointy fashion (almost half an inch past my toes). The real problem with this shoe is that, like most other dance shoes of this category, it has very thin sole under the balls of feet. It's so thin, you can feel all the straps that go underneath your balls of feet. Ouch (who cares about having the flexible sole, if your feet are hurting like b*tch!?). After dancing on this for only 20-30 minutes, my balls of feet feel like they're on fire. I actually developed some very painful balls of feet and arch pain after I danced in these all night (5-6 hours). Thankfully it was gone after several days spent in my Merrells and in bed, but it definitely made me afraid to dance in these shoes again for awhile! All in all, I have decided to keep these because 1) I have found that using "Dr Scholl's for her High Heel Insoles" works great, giving necessary arch support/cushion and balls of feet cushion this shoe seriously lacks for me to comfortably dance (having balls of feet cushions only didn't do anything at all, I have become a convert for these insoles). Now I'm able to do 2 hour dance sessions comfortably, though I haven't tested them for all-night dancing yet, I have good feeling about it and will try soon. 2) I just love this particular design. I feel very sexy in an understated way in them, and the heels feel so stable. I did end up buying another pair of Aris Allen shoes with lower heels, which doesn't look as sexy as these but helluva lot more comfortable (and of course, I use the gel cushions with all my heels). I'm getting very frustrated with the lack of sexy, comfortable, low heel shoes on the market! I'm considering taking this pair to the cobbler to see if they can glue extra layer of leather underneath the balls of feet, to add more cushion.. Has anyone tried this?

I got these shoes in white for a dance performance. I\'ve only worn them on stage which is a marley surface. They work perfectly for turns and are not slippery for other moves. However, I have not tried them on a wood floor. They give a nice toe point. They are lower to the ground than some split sole jazz shoes and I like that. I have an average foot but I think that the shoe is a little narrow in the front and a little tight in the instep as it does not have an actual tongue. They look good on my feet.

Ordering from Zappos was very easy. I was extremely surprised when my order showed up the next day! Shipping was free and the product looked exactly like the picture showed. I have been using Zappos.com to purchase gifts for the past couple of years and I must say that it has always been an excellent experience and I will definitely continue to use Zappos.com!

I purchased these for my 12 year old daughter who is quite small; she is a performer and also does ballroom/latin dancing and public speaking, and pageants; These were to replace typical character shoes and wear with suits to give her a little extra height; she loves them, they are very comfortable, she even wore them to trick or treat. They should be offered in silver and gold for special occasions, pageants, etc. I also purchased the open toe rose color style; these are also very comfortable and elegant, but the colors offered including the rose do not work well for dressier events. Capezio has much nicer styles and color selection, but do not compare in comfort, very important for any performer.

I love these shoes! As a dancer, I always loved the feel of my ballet slippers. These have that same comfort and fit. The leather is so soft! It is the best flat street shoe I have ever had on my feet. Thanks also for the lightning fast shipping!

Great shoes. Use for Argentine tango and they were comfortable the first time I used them, no breaking in time. I needed 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes.

I got these shoes because I've been wearing Vibram Fivefingers to run in, and the more I get used to the "barefoot" feel, the more I can't deal with rigid-soled shoes. I gave these a try, and I really like them. They conform to my feet while absorbing shock well. I actually haven't used these to dance, but they're comfortable for all-day wearing. They weigh very little and are well-ventilated. One small thing: the way they tie is not very functional. Luckily, the pair I got fit my feet fine except for a little looseness around the opening/ankle. I threaded the laces through the pull-loop in the back and then tied them in front in order to secure them a little better.

Wanted dance shoes for a ballroom showcase coming up. These were too small by at least a half size, maybe more. I liked the steel in the shank. It seemed to cure the problem of heel wiggle in this type of dance shoe.

I bought these shoes for zumba. They made me dance so much better because I can easily pivot in them. I have noticed for the higher impact dance I need to wear cushy socks because there isn't much cushioning in the shoe itself. I do love the flexibility of the shoe as well.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. Beware: you need to order 1 size larger than your regular shoe size. I like the fact that the shoes come with the heel and toe taps attached. I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered a size 8 but should have ordered 8 1/2. I usually wear a 6 1/2 in regular shoes. These shoes or of great quality and make line dancing a lot easier. They don\'t make me a pro but nothing can do that. Ha

My first order with Zappos, tap shoes. I ordered my regular size, 7.5. They came, they were so tight, I couldn't walk. I called CS, they sent out the next size and I received them the next day. They also were too tight, and although they hesitated about another return, they accommodated me, and size 8s came the next day, perfect fit. The CS at Zappos is the best I've run across. Don't hesitate to use them. I'm a happy 67 year old grandmother, tapping away at my over 55+ development here in Monroe, NJ.

Bought these a size and a half bigger, going according to the previous reviews. They are at least a half size too big. They\'re pointier in the toes than I like. I\'m going to send them back; haven\'t worn them at all. I like the color, though.

I bought these to wear to a wedding. These shoes are made for dancing. They have the cork sole for non-slip, and totally adjustable strap for a perfect fit on the ankle. Super comfortable. I usually wear 10.5 wide, which is very difficult to find. These were available in a 10.5, but I had to settle for a medium width, but it turned out to be just fine. The only thing I would have preferred is that the gold could have been toned down a bit so not so bright. But overall, a great shoe.

Wow! After trying Nike Threads, Air Troupe, Cameos, Musiques, Danskin Felecity, Capezio dancesneakers, you name it, I felt like I'd never find the best shoe for Zumba. Until I read about these Blochs. As a Zumba instructor, I need to be able to pivot and not have any issues with my knees. (No one wants that!) These are so light, comfy and great right out of the box. My only request would be a better selection of colors; they are a bit dull for Zumba!

These shoes run very small. My daughter wears a 3.5 in youth size. I had to send back the 4s I had originally purchased and get the 6 in ladies size? She said they fit good now and they are comfortable.

About Bloch

Bloch’s philosophy of listening to dancers is still as strong today as it was when Jacob Bloch made his first pair of pointe shoes in 1932. Bloch arrived from Europe in 1931 at the height of the Great Depression and began making shoes by hand in the workshop where he lived.

Bloch loved watching ballet and visited many dance studios. At one such studio, he noticed a young dancer who was having trouble staying on pointe. Bloch promised he would make her a better pair of shoes, and so he did. After that, Bloch’s reputation for making good dance shoes spread rapidly.

At Bloch, the respect the company has for its clients' art is infinite. Contributing to a dancer's artistry, in even the slightest way is the ultimate Bloch goal. Admittedly jealous of their clients' artistic ability, Bloch is proud to contribute confidence and beauty through the best dance footwear in the world.
