Overall:

I am really happy with these shoes. I bought them for teaching Zumba. My dance background is in ballroom, and I love that I can dance actual Latin techniques in these shoes. They do run small. I have very small feet (wmn\'s size 4B). I wear a 3.5 in Nike kids tennis shoes. I bought Bloch\'s in a size 5, and I still could have gone 1/2 size bigger I think. I\'ve been wearing thinner socks with them and they are increasingly comfortable as I break them in, like they are forming to my foot. I have a lot of past injuries and was worried about not having enough support in these, but I am feeling just fine teaching 2 nights per week in them.

Amazing shoe. Even though everyone seems to be saying they run small, I think the issue is that women are notorious for wearing their shoes too small with their toes hanging over the front edge. I ordered my normal size (8) and they fit perfectly. No heel slippage, plenty of room in the toe box; this is a wide shoe, as opposed to a women's B. Great flexibility. Great non-skid. Wonderful comfort. These will rock when I dance the Lindy Hop at my son's wedding.

I wear a 7, ordered an 8. Because of the way they were laced upon arrival, I thought they were still too small. After adjusting the laces, they're just right. I wore them to Zumba yesterday and noticed a difference right away, much easier to move around with the Blochs. The split sole will take some getting used to, but so far I really enjoy the flex. Wish I had ordered pink instead of black, but oh well. Thanks, Zappos, for your great customer support. You always score five stars with me!

These are dance shoes, true to size. If you\'re used to wearing dance shoes, buy your regular dance shoe size. The shoes are constructed so that dancers can go en pointe wearing them, so they should be snug. I followed online advice and ordered up, and the shoes were way too big. I bought them for zumba, not for ballet, and they were uncomfortably large. They\'re even too big to walk around in. Remember, they\'re not designed to be street shoes.

I bought this specifically for Zumba. It is like night and day from trying to Zumba in an aerobic shoe. I can actually move (dance). It does run narrow. I did size up 1/2 size. This shoe is very light weight and flexible.

I really like these shoes for my beginning tango classes. I never wore heels before, so that was a problem in addition to trying to tango. Further, sandals usually hurt my little toe. I am happy to report that these sandals don\'t hurt my toes and have a very stable heel that is not too high but doesn\'t look like it belongs on a fourth grader, either. The size was on target. I wear a 7, ordered a 7, and the shoes fit. At first the so-called speed buckle was a pain to fasten but it got easier and now I can fasten by touch which is convenient. If you like to dance in heels, but don\'t want a very high heel, these are good shoes.

This is my first ballroom dance shoe for rumba and cha cha lessons. It is very comfy and the heel is wide enough at the base to allow me, a beginner, to feel secure and not break my ankles! It really added a lot to my dancing. I wear a size 9 street shoe and originally ordered a 9 1/2. It was still a bit snug, so I ordered the size 10 and that was perfect. At first, I ordered several brands of dance shoes. The BLOCH shoes were more expensive, but so much more comfortable. They were worth it. The Capezio shoes I tried would have taken a long painful time to break in.

It's amazing what the proper shoe can do. I have been suffering during Zumba classes for months. I finally decided to order these shoes and tried them today. What a difference! Once you try them for dance classes, you'll never go back to traditional sneakers.

I bought this shoe on the recommendation of a friend and the reviews. It is a great shoe. I bought the pair 1/2 size bigger than my normal "loose" size and they fit fine. Very glad that I bought them although I was told that I spent too much. But with free shipping both ways and not knowing how they were going to work for me, I needed the option of returning them.

I bought these shoes to use for a dance exercise class and they are great: comfortable, nicer-looking than running shoes, and great for turns. I'm considering buying another pair for wearing outside the studio. The sizing is bizarre; I normally wear a size 7-7.5.

I bought these shoes in gold, and I have been very pleased. The shoes are a good heel height for me. I don\'t like really high, spiky heels. The gold is shiny and attractive, and I think the shoe is comfortable. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet for several hours and they served me well.

I purchased these to replace an older Bloch dance sneaker, "Salsation", that I found very comfortable and perfect for dance classes and Zumba, but is no longer available. As with the Salsation, I bought it 1.5 sizes above my street shoe size and it fit well. My only complaint which is a bit irritating, is that it seems the ridge across front sole near the arch is deeper cut and wider in this pair, and if the floor is ever so uneven (as wood floors sometimes are), I find the sole catching and slowing me a bit. It is also not as smooth across the floor in general. I kept them, but I would not purchase them again or recommend them.

I love these shoes. They are true to size (I wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on the shoe, and these 7's were perfect). There is enough room as well for enlarged toe joints! They are great for Zumba and Salsa, and other Latin dances, as well as Disco, and provide for easy turns. I would not recommend them for "On the Ball" or Muscle Mix classes as there is not enough traction provided. Dance sneakers do not provide arch support like a cross trainer or running shoe. The look of the shoe is also wonderful; allows for easy pointing of the feet, and they are also comfortable if worn as a street shoe. I recommended them highly! The service from Zappos, second to none. It is superb.

Very Nice shoe - This shoe runs small. I had to order a 1/2 size up and thank goodness they carried 10 1/2. Lots of comfy cushiness. I look forward to using these for my beginners swing class!

These do run small, I normally wear a size 6 but based on another review and the fact that a 6 wasn\'t available I ordered a 6.5 which turned out to be perfect. These shoes are lightweight and flexible but provide arch support and the soles work well for pivots and spins. I like them a lot.

This is a wonderful dance shoe. Gives lots of support but is light and flexible. I have very hard to fit feet because they are wide and I have a high instep and it is perfect. Love it!

Very satisfied with these shoes. I'm taking Zumba classes and the shoes are perfect for it. The only thing, here's a trick, they come in 1-2 sizes smaller then advertised. I wear size 8, so I returned the pair in that size and bought another one, size 9. I heard from my friends, they had exactly same situation with this shoes. But size 9 worked! Just have to know.

I call these my magic dancing shoes! We started ballroom lessons and didn't take the plunge right away for shoes, but these make all the difference. The suede bottoms give plenty of slide and glide action, and the ankle strap makes you so confident that you're not going to lose a shoe in the middle of a turn. The heel height and width was perfect; not too high, not too skinny. A really solid feeling on the dance floor. The fit was great, but I usually need a wide shoe, so they may be too wide for a narrow person. I love the larger sizes that Zappos.com offers. This is my new "shoe store."

This sneaker is great for Zumba. It's comfortable and easy to move in. I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear and they were perfect! Once again the service from Zappos didn't disappoint. These sneakers were at my door within 24 hours! You're the best.

Second pair of Zumba shoes - After 2 years of 3 Zumba classes per week, my old jazz shoes couldn't do another mambo. I read the many reviews of the Blochs written by instructors and decided to give them a try. I love them! The fit is perfect (normal size 9, bought a 10) and they are more comfortable and have much better support than my previous non-Bloch pair.

I love my Blochs! With them and a tip from a dance teacher who reminded me to keep my knees, when bent, pointed over my middle toes, I no longer have knee pain after Zumba class. \r\n\r\nI wasn\'t sure what size to order, so called Zappos for more info. The woman I spoke with suggested a 10 1/2, which fit perfectly. I normally wear a 9 and have a widish foot (with bunions).

This shoe is great and flexible. However, I am very disappointed with the quality. After dancing once or twice a week for a month the inside started separating. Now, after two months the shoe is losing its form. These are so comfortable but I just can't depend on them so I just ordered new shoes of another brand.

I love the quality of these shoes. I normally wear a size 9 but my toes hit the end of the shoe. So I ordered a 9 1/2 which was better but only left about 1/4 inch. I am reordering a size 10 only because if the shoe fits I know I'll love them. Zappos has amazingly fast shipping and great customer service!
