Love this boot! I knew I would love this boot from the second I saw it online. I have always been a fan of the wedged heel and this one is the perfect height. Not too short, not too tall and comfortable! I am a stay at home mom to a 7-month-old and I am still able to wear this boot while toting him around. The only thing that bothers me is that the leather on the toe became extremely scuffed within the first 2 hours of wearing them. I took them to a shoe repair shop and they buffed it out. I haven't had a problem since, but I am sure I will eventually need to take these back in for a clean up.

These are very comfortable, go-with-anything boots. The calves are a bit wide for me (I have skinny calves), but I think the extra space works for these boots. I wear these everywhere (including walking a mile to and from work many days) and find them very comfortable.

Beautiful boot with soft rich leather and leather lining. Everything I am looking for, but I could feel the shank under my heel immediately when I stood in the boot. That could only mean a lot of discomfort wearing it for any length of time. I had to return it. It needs better padding in the footbed.

Very cute and very small - Loved the look but just too small. I normally find European sizes tend to run big on me but this wasn't the case.

These boots are so cute. Even ordered a 1/2 size big since they did not have my size; glad I did. Probably runs on the small size and narrow in the toe. The only problem is the ankle is huge! My husband said I looked like I had elephant feet! Looked cute front view, side view ankle was like 8 in wide! Sending them back. Got them from Endless.com for slightly less with free overnight shipping and free returns. Although they were cheaper from the other site, the customer service did not compare. I am back shopping at Zappos!

Runs a 1/2 size big. I usually wear a 7 no matter what the shoe, even in Biviel, but not in these shoes. Wishing I had a 6.5!

Disappointing. The color is Ebano, what the heck is that?, translates as ebony which means black to me and Websters and they look black in photo, but the shoes are actually dark brown. Pretty color, but not what I wanted. The shoelaces are so long that when tied the strings hang down to the ground; you would have to stuff them under the tongue so as not to get tangled up and black and blue. The soles are thin, and the heel is very slippery. Very disappointed.

Well made fun spin on a classic. These leather shoes are well made and cute. The detail leather work is really nice and the heel is a good chunky style which is great for all day wearing.

First, can I just say how much I LOVE Zappos? They rock for me time and time again. Hugs to you Zappos. These shoes are adorable and very comfortable right out of the box. I received them yesterday and wore them to work today. I have to walk approximately 15 minutes to my office and it was a breeze. This is awesome for me because I typically have ultra sensitive feet and I had no problem with these Biviel\'s (my first pair - great brand). Do not hesitate to buy these adorable wedges.

Beautiful boots, but not very comfortable. Styling was nice, just over mid-thigh, but foot was a bit narrow (I have an average-width foot). Leather was not of the best quality in my opinion, especially for the price.

Beautiful looking shoe, but hard on your feet. Ouch! I ordered this shoe in the patent wine color, which is pretty nice, sort of in between wine and brown. The shoe has ample toe room, but the leather?! is very stiff and hard on your feet. The heel is very stiff as one reviewer noted, plus, they're slippery, especially by the bottom of the heel. Almost slipped a couple of times walking on anything polished. That said, they are a pretty shoe, but I would take comfort over looks hands down. Buyer, beware! Too bad, because this brand does have some nice looking shoes! No complaints about Zappos; fast shipping and good customer service! I always shop at Zappos and no, I don't work for them!

Perfection! I adore these boots. From the minute I opened the box I loved the color and texture. When I put them on they were completely comfortable. I am a teacher, and am on my feet all day, and let me tell you these boots are comfortable to wear all the live-long day! They are super stylish, too.

I am in love with these boots! I read all the reviews for these boots, but I thought the calf size might work great for me because mine are a bit thin. They fit great! I've NEVER been able to wear boots with dresses or skirts because they always have a big visible gap between the boot and my legs. I am so happy with these guys! I recommend them to anyone with smallish legs. It's also my second pair of Biviel shoes and I am now a huge fan. I got the oak color and it is a bit darker color than the picture, which worked great for me. I love Zappos!

Very modern with a vintage twist. Really cute and city chic. I was looking for a pair of 'flats' without being so flat it hurts to wear due to no support. These are great for support and the leather is buttery soft. I have heel pain and these were great on any surface. No break in issues! These are high quality made and material. I will shop again with this brand.

First, Ebano = brown, not ebony or black as you might think. But, whatever, these boots are awesome. Great leather. So comfy and stylish. I was worried they would look military or horseback, but they don't. Tres chic. I disagree with the prior comment about the calves; I do have large, muscular calves and they're strangling, but there's enough room and pliability to get them stretched. Probably best for average calves.

I wish these would fit. These are beautiful boots, but they don't fit. They don't nearly even get close to over my calves, and I am very average size woman, size 31 Jeans, 5' 6", 145 lbs. I could not even close the zipper half way up. 14.25" calf is not a true statement in the ad. So sad, really wanted these to fit.

I bought these shoes in 8.5 (usually wear an 8.5 or 9, but never a 9.5). When I opened the box, I knew they wouldn’t fit - they were TINY. Kiddie shoe tiny. I couldn’t get my foot halfway in. You need extremely narrow feet to get into these and I would suggest ordering them at least 1 full size up - seriously. They do look really nice and they’re made with good leather. I love the look of Biviel shoes, but I’m afraid to buy another pair because of this sizing issue. I exchanged these for Clarks Artisan "Diamond Color" in a size 9 and I love them. They’re pretty similar and even higher quality.

Most comfortable heels ever. I don't make a habit of wearing heels, but I look forward to wearing these whenever I can. I walked about 30 NYC blocks in them feeling great and confident in them. I find the size to be true to size. I love these shoes. The turned up heel portion in the back does wear quickly so I will be visiting the cobbler.

Cute -- but only for a minute! These shoes have such potential, but the toe box is strangely squat, which makes your toes pinch together into a point. Not comfortable. Add to that the fact that they run small, and basically it seems like they're made without much regard for the shape of the foot!

Biviel's Bv1733 - These boots are really cute but...they are so tight in the foot they were wrinkling when I had them on. I have a narrow foot and it barely squeezed in. I had to return them. One last note I have to write is about how hard it is to find a pair of shoes NOT from CHINA. These boots unfortunately WERE from China. Overall Zappos has the best selection of boots from Italy and Brazil that are great quality. I've bought all of my boots from Zappos so far and have had excellent luck. Go Zappos!!

Great look, but unrealistic fit - These boots arrived really quickly from Zappos, and they look great. I have an average width foot and slightly athletic calf. I was unable to get my heel into the boot because of the back strap, and suspect if I had, the shaft of the boot would have been too small. I have to send them back.
