I bought these Birkis to work in my garden; I ruined several of my nicer pairs by getting them too wet and getting them filthy in the red clay here in South Carolina. These rubber Birkis are up to the task! They fit the same as most other Birks I have and they clean up great. I got caught in a drench to the skin rain the other day and I just emptied the shoe, took the liners out and let everything dry. They are good as new. The burgundy ones were on sale so I thought it was a good deal. Actually, I would call them more of a 'blue' red (as opposed to a tomato red). I am really glad I bought these!

Has a roomy fit, so works great for thicker socks in a cold operating room. Birki insert is very thin, so I replace with a Sole brand insert. Have worn for years. Bought this pair because of a new job and I never take work shoes from one hospital to the next -- just can't do it. Gave 3 stars for comfort related to Birki insert and 3 stars for style. It's a clog, can't rate too high on the style scale - functional, in my opinion, not stylish.

Very comfortable shoes. My only complaint was the insoles which were very thick and I had to purchase some different ones. I have heard the cooks Birkis have a better insole and I will look into those next time. Overall very comfortable though and will last a long time.
