Birkenstock won again. The Birkenstocks Birki shoe is a great one. Birkenstock has always had good quality shoes and this one is one of the best by far. This shoe gives excellent comfort. Similar to the sandals and come in 3 awesome colors: red green and blue. They have an amazingly sophisticated yet outdoorsy type style. It’s great for anyone of any age to wear anytime!

Birkenstock Birki - Wonderful shoe for working outdoors! Exceptionally comfortable. Fit is large - would definitely not order up. Zappos.com is an excellent store to order from also!

Birki- nice shoe - I like this shoe a lot. It looks nice and is generally comfortable. It takes a few days to get used to the toe bar and the lack of shock protection, though. I wonder about the size: I wear size 8 sneakers and got size 38 (7-7.5) and it seems big but still comfortable anyway. While wearing these shoes, my toes get sweaty, making them cold, so they don't have perfect comfort. However, I still find them really great shoes!

Your feet will thank you! I only wish this Birki came in black or brown, but the green and blue are ok. Haven't got enough nerve to try the red. I like the shoes a little larger (extra space behind the heel) for greater comfort. I've been wearing them for several years now and just ordered two new pairs. Use the Birkies for everything. First got them for use in the garden because they are easy on and easy off. Once you try them, you'll always buy them. I also enjoy the customer support at Zappos.

I have loved these shoes since my first pair in grade school. I like the classic because it is totally waterproof and so comfortable. The foot bed molds perfectly to the foot. I only wish they weren't so hard to find. Back when I got my second pair the super Birki was new and the classic Birki was offered in every color of the rainbow. Too bad the old Birkensock does not carry the classic Birki any more.

I have been wearing these at work and have found them quite comfortable, even after a 24 hour shift. I usualy wear an 8 EE and the 38 W fit best. I recommend getting these a size smaller than you usually get.

These are wonderful shoes! Except one problem, the shoes with designs on them can not go into the washing machine, they have to be washed by hand. This is okay if your just using them at home or have a job that isn't disgusting. I am a custodian, and as you can imagine some pretty ugly things get splashed onto my shoes. If I can't wash them in a hot water washing machine with some disinfectant, then I run the risk of cross contamination. However, as I stated before these are wonderfully comfortable shoes that fit my duck feet well, so I will be swapping them out for the plain black style.
Brands I'd also recommend: Birki's if you need the arch support, Croc's if you don't.

Buy a size smaller than you wear. I always wear an 8.5 shoe which would be the 39. I listened to the other reviews and bought the size smaller 38. I am so thankful for the tip. The shoes fit perfect with just enough extra room. If I would have bought my standard size I would have had to return them. These shoes are super comfy and easy to clean.
