Kind of disappointed in these. Cute enough. Really well made. Very uncomfortable and the fit was bad. I ordered 8-Narrow. Width was good but they were too long in the toe region; I think going down a size would make them fit funky elsewhere. Anyway, maybe Birkenstock's are just not for me.

Cute style for a Birkenstock, but not the right sandal for people like me who have flat arches and weak ankles that pronate in. I felt like there was a hard rock under my arch and I could barely walk with these sandals on. They are cute, but not for you if you have flat or no arches.

I've been a fan of Birkenstocks for years, and I love this new, cute style! I ordered mine in narrow, and it's a perfect fit for my slim feet. As another reviewer mentioned, the ankle strap may be a problem for some people. It was too big for me and rubbed badly when I walked, and the first buckle does not work to tighten around the ankle (reason for the 4 star rating). But I took the shoes to my local shoe repair place and they were able to shorten the ankle strap for me, so now it fits and all is comfortable.

I normally love Birkenstocks and have worn through at least three pairs of the Milano style. I was excited when I saw this - something a bit different. However, I need to exchange it for a smaller size. I wear a size 9, so I ordered a size 40. Way too big! I could not get the straps tight enough on my feet. Other people commented on the hardness of the shoes - I think that's just Birkenstocks and it doesn't bother me at all.

I can understand the strap issue, but I am actually quite used to it. Every pair of Birkenstock clogs I have ever bought had the same issue with the strap, it is really not that big of a deal, the only reason I like it there is to keep me from kicking the shoe off and losing it. Otherwise, they are comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. I have been wearing these for years, my previous pair was a pair of Milanos I have had for over eight years, these will probably last as long.

These shoes, although really cute and I love Birkenstocks, however, run large. The strap that runs around the bag is huge and the length is too long. I will re-order one size down from my other Birks. I normally wear a 41 in Birkenstocks...and a 10 in USA sizing. However, with these I will reorder a 40.

I absolutely love these sandals. I tried four other Birkenstock styles, and these were the most comfortable that I tried on (thank you Zappos for your patience with all my returns). They look much better on than I thought they would, and are much more feminine than I expected. I have worn them all day every day since I got them four days ago, and I have absolutely no complaints. People are right about them getting more comfortable with a little time. They go with shorts, and casual skirts/dresses very well. I think they will go well with jeans, too, once the weather cools off a little. These are my first Birkenstocks. I never thought I would feel remotely stylish wearing them - but boy was I wrong. They are quite cute. Being seven months pregnant, I am incredibly grateful for a comfortable pair of stylish sandals to support my feet, back, and growing belly. Fabulous.

I absolutely love these shoes but there are some problems with them. The ankle strap comes out about half an inch from the back of my heel so it is basically useless and where the strap connects to the sole of the shoe at the front of my foot, it is breaking up the cork bed. I am not sure if that will be a problem in the long run. But I would still buy them again. They are so comfortable and really cute. I have had the Arizona and the Boston clog and they were not as comfortable as these. I love these shoes in spite of the little problems.

This style is so cute, but I have a bunion and the strap didn't cover it, so it felt strange. Birkenstocks are great though. I love them. They put my flat feet into the proper position which really helps with my fibromyalgia pain.

This shoe is a great sandal. Fit is very good. I am normally a medium width but have found that the narrow width Birkenstock fit me better than the regular width. Shoe fits snugly around the foot providing better overall foot support. The ankle strap on this shoe is loose around the heel but provides appropriate support when needed. I think the shoe would bind if the strap were snug against the heel. The upper leather is a bit stiff in the beginning but like all leather is softening with wear. If you are looking for a nice looking sandal with lots of support, then I recommend this one.

Great shoes! They seem to run wide though. But I don't care. You just need to tighten the straps a little more...

I read reviews before purchasing these sandals, and have to say that I agree with many of them. I ordered a size down, and am happy that I did so. I still have enough toe and heel space. I also agree with the back ankle strap being too big. I tried wearing them for two hours and had to take them off. My feet were sliding around and causing raw blisters in spots. Another review inspired me to take them to my local shoe repair shop to get the heel strap tightened up. I am so happy now! They fits like a glove and were cheap to fix. These are adorable sandals with great foot support!

These are so great! I get so many compliments on them. The first time I wore them they were a tad bit uncomfortable, but they loosened up the more that I wore them. Now they're probably the most comfortable shoes I own. As far as sizing goes, I'm normally an 8 1/2, and the 39s are just right.
