Birkenstock® has been a family owned and operated business for over 200 years when Johann Adam Birkenstock first registered as a shoemaker in a small German village. Birkenstock footwear is designed and sized to provide a roomy fit allowing your toes and feet to wiggle and be free. This sometimes takes a bit of getting used to. Also, most Birkenstock styles come in two widths: narrow and regular, so you can really find the best possible fit for your feet. For the most natural fit, your feet should rest comfortably inside the footbed and there should be about ¼” between your toes and the end of the footbed.
No other part of your body is subject to as much stress and strain as your feet and that is why it is so important to take care of them. With features like a contoured cork footbed, a deep heel cup, and a roomy toe box, Birkenstock clogs and sandals provide more than simply cushioning. My daughter loves the comfort of Birkenstock and was thrilled that these shoes came in a true narrow size. Wants to wear them all the time, and the color is a very pale purple so they go with quite a few outfits.
This is exactly what I was looking for for my 11-year old to walk all over Europe this summer. I wanted something pretty (not Keens or water-type shoes) but with good support. I was thrilled when I found this, and even happier when she loved how they felt on her foot. She is a size 3 and the 34 fit perfectly. Got the purple color, which in many lights looks silver. Love this shoe. Knowing the Birkenstock quality, I expect it to hold up well too.
Love these! I have small feet so I love being able to order the kids sizes and save money. These are so comfortable and have great arch support. These are very well made. I want them in every color!
Oh, how I wish these were for me! I bought these for my seven year old (she is a size 11½) in a 29, and they are a perfect fit, with room to spare, so do order smaller than marked. Reflective pink is so pretty, and I know these will be so much more comfortable than her everyday flip-flops for summer. I love them, and will probably order myself a pair before week's end!
Great shoe - true to the Birkenstock name. My daughter has lived in these shoes since they arrived. Highly recommend as a durable, quality summer shoe.
My 8 year old loves these sandals. They look fashionable, yet they stay on her feet and don't flop like most backless sandals. She has flat feet and needs arch support. These offer that and are cute enough to wear with a skirt, shorts or cropped pants. Love them! They only come in narrow, but that seems to fit a normal width foot just fine.
This is my daughter's 2nd pair of Birkenstocks. She lives in them during the summer! Good for the feet, sturdy and comfortable.
These are great shoes. I bought them for my 10 year old daughter who pronates slightly in silver. I measured her foot with a yard/meter stick in centimeters and inches and they fit perfectly. You can trust the measurement guide. I have worn them for years and love them. They have great arch support, look nice and are a better alternative to flip-flops. They last much better than any other shoes you could purchase. I wear mine year round.
True to the Birkenstock name, these are fabulous sandals. I love knowing my children's developing feet are properly supported and that they're cute and comfy (they want to wear them near constantly) are bonus points! Same high quality materials as adult Birkenstocks. I was somewhat concerned about the Birko-flor upper material being comfy, but the girls say its fine.
You can never go wrong with Birks, especially for growing little feet! These have great arch support, are very comfortable, mold to your foot over time, and hold up pretty well for a kids sandal.
These would have perfect, as I have small feet womans size 4.5 but...they only came in a narrow width and just needed a medium. Thanks Zappos for great service to return these.
Runs very large. We're sending them back and ordering two sizes down. We ordered a 31 200 which is supposed to be a 13-13.5 narrow. In the same order we received a size 13 in a Saucony that fit well. I wish I didn't have to rate them, because I don't really know yet.
Adorable. The pink is not a flat pink but a pearly type pink. My 4 year old loved these so much when they came in that she slept in them the first two nights...
Sturdy shoes. They run big so get a size smaller than usual and you'll be pleased. My 10-year-old daughter says they feel great.
My 8 year old says, "awesome". Mom says, "Her flat foot w/ flexible arch looks good in these shoes. Nice alternative when she won't wear her orthotics."

These are great shoes for young feet. Same timeless Birkenstock quality, comfort and style. My 9 year old daughter wanted a clog style shoe, but found the Danskos, Sanita and other more classic clog styles harder to walk in and often too flashy in patent leather and bright colors. The kids Boston is more low key like her.
