Love this shoe. I've had my Granada Birkies for over 5 years, and that's all I've worn, except a few Sundays when I had to wear heels. After which, I can't wait to get home and put my Birkies on again. They're even better than going bare foot!

Great Quality, Long Lasting Sandals. The Granada's I have were given to my mother 8 years ago. She doesn't wear sandals, so she gave them to me. I wear them for almost every occasion. -Around the inside and outside of my home. In the garden they get wet, but I just let them dry overnight and wear them the next day. I wear them to the store and to church. They are great as slippers. I don't like to wear shoes, but need protection on my feet. I love the freedom my sandals provide. Buying a new pair doesn't mean I'll toss the old ones. I'll use them for gardening.

Doctor recommended. Nine years ago, I began wearing Birkenstock's on my orthopedic physician's recommendations. He has worn them for years. I am ready for a new pair of Granada's. My old ones have been in the Atlantic Ocean, abused beyond any shoe's imagination. They still look good – I just want another color. Don't/can't wear any other shoe! Thank you Birkenstock! Excellent! Have had these shoes (in black leather) for over seven (?) years. Would get another pair; unfortunately black is not currently available. Most comfortable and durable. Survived the Atlantic Ocean!

nubuck not as durable. I've had 3 pairs of this style for three years. White leather, brown leather and black nubuck. The staps go first. The first strap to go was on the nubucks, even though I wore them less. My advice for value through durability opt for the leather.

Comfort over attractiveness I used to swear that I would never own a pair of Birkenstocks because they were the ugliest shoes I'd ever seen. The Granada is, in my opinion, one of the more attractive ones, but it's still not what I'm going to wear to make a statement. Despite the look of this shoe, it is, by far, the most comfortable shoe I've ever placed on my foot. If you've never owned a pair, your arches will probably hurt for the first few days until the cork molds to your foot, but, after that, you'll wonder why you wear anything else. I literally wore these shoes until they fell apart, and then went out and bought a new pair.

Granada is a great style, but with some problems - I purchased my first pair of the Granadas in the mid 1980's. Within one year, even with good care to the cork my pair split at the ball of the foot on both shoes. Several repairs were unable to fix this problem.

First Rate - I've had my Granada sandals for 10 years. They are very comfortable but are beginning to look a little tired. I like the thin straps. They look good with a variety of clothes.

Love the Granada Style - I own two pairs of the Granada style and love them. They look great and with a lot of shoes not fitting properly, these fit like a dream. If you wear a 7-1/2 shoe, get the 37 which is 6-1/2-7 in Birkenstock.

The most comfortable shoe I own, I have 4 pairs of Granadas - Got my first pair of Birkenstocks in Vienna in 1987, and they are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have 20 pairs of Birkenstocks, and the Granada is my favorite. Zappos provides outstanding service and selection, and I appreciate the fact they carry the regular width.

Great fit and feel. Loved these sandals; however, the thin straps finally frayed and broke after about 5 summers which I feel is a bit short for Birks. Sole is still in great shape, but they can no longer be worn because of the broken thin straps.

Flirty Birkies - I've always wanted Granadas for their more delicate look. They were impossible to find in 37 narrow and then along came Zappos. The lacier look, two adjustable straps, and the comfy foot bed make these a real gem.

Great Look, Great Shoe - This is my third pair of Birkenstocks and I used them primarily when I spent a week in DisneyWorld. They were very easy to break in and I did not have any problems keeping up.

Never the most fashionable, but for comfort and support Birkenstock can't be beat. I am struggling with plantar facitis and currently these are the only shoes/sandals that I can wear that support my feet properly. It didn't take too long to break in and now they feel great.

This style is much more stylish than the others because they are more strappy. I just wish they were in a more neutral color, since I don't wear much that necessitates brown sandals. The few times that I've worn them, I have found them to be pretty comfortable, but they are less cushioned than the Mephisto sandals I also purchased.

granada - I have a problem finding anything comfortable for my feet. I can wear these all day. I ordered them on a Wed. night and they were delivered at 11:00am on Thurs. Fabulous!

Replacing 11-year-old Birkenstocks - My new Birkenstock Granadas have been a perfect replacement for my oldest shoes. I wore my Birkenstock three-strap slip-ons (I think they are the Florida style) for everyday occasions for years, finally relegating them to "slipper" status. Since I need support for my feet at all times, they were good for slipping on as I got out of bed. They finally started feeling worn out. I ordered the Granadas because I like the more feminine look and the blue color. I got the same size as I bought eleven years ago and the new shoes fit just like the old ones. The first time I wore them for about two hours before I realized they were going to need breaking in. I've gradually worn them for longer periods and they are totally comfortable. I prefer Birkies with ankle straps for when I go out but I wear these all day when I'm home.
Brands I'd also recommend: Birkenstock Milano (basic, practical with ankle strap)
