Absolutely the most comfortable sandal ever. Molds to your foot, provides the best arch support, perfect to walk around in all day long. The silver metallic color and t-strap design makes it very cute, and defies the old 'granola' Birkenstock image. Get 'em!

I love these shoes. This is my second pair. I love shoes, and swore I would never wear Birkenstock due to their usually stodgy design, but these are so cute and comfortable. You can still have a really comfortable pair of shoes that look good. By the way, I am always a 6 1/2 and took a 6 in these. They don't come in half sizes!

Over the past 10+ years I have worn through two of the black patents and one silver pair, but the Onyx is by far my favorite. They are really sharp looking, required no break-in time and are the least hippy-dippy of the Birkenstock line. I love them and wear them almost every day.

These sandals were great on my trip to Rome! I was concerned about a sandal that went between the toes but they were great! Make sure you break them in before wearing on a long trip. I also brought along the Naot Cymbal which was great too but I found I wore these more, easy on and off! The black patent leather is the Best color, they look dressy or casual, very chic design for Birkenstock, I have never bought this brand before because I never liked the style but these are very nice!Try a couple of sizes on before you buy!The strap can adjust up or down depending on how hot or swollen your feet are feeling.

Fabulous shoes. Spent the summer pregnant and my feet swelled, so I bought these in hope they would fit and give me the support and comfort I needed. They absolutely did. Stylistically they are much better looking than traditional Birks. I am normally an 8 and got a size 39 to compensate for the swelling and they fit great.

My absolute summer favorites. The only comfortable sandals for long and hot touristic routes on vacation. I have the 3rd pair for the last 6 years and I am absolutely sure - its the most comfortable footwear in the world. Last two I had in silver - most style flexible color.

This is my second pair in this color. I love love love them and get lots of compliments. My only complaint was that after wearing for a summer (admittedly, they were worn more than any shoes that summer), they developed a crack in the cork footbed. The next summer, I again wore them a lot, and really wore down the bottom. To repair them would have cost as much, maybe more, than a brand new pair, so I got them. Now I wear the raggy pair to schlep around and keep the new pair for nicer outfits. Do not hesitate!

I have Plantar Fasciitis and could not find shoes or orthotics that helped until these. They are so comfortable and my feet do not hurt the moment I put them on. I am going to order the Birkestock insoles for my other shoes. I found them to run two sizes too large however, so I returned twice until I got the right fit. I love these! They are perfect for walking around the city in the summer. I prefer them to any other shoes, including sneakers, for long walks. They are super supportive. I love the Onyx color which is a lovely gunmetal that goes with everything.

I have many pairs of Gizeh and they are wonderful. I have several colors and have worn this style for years. I do need narrow and it is hard to find.

I have never been a fan of Birks but saw these on a friend this summer and they absolutely caught my eye. They are stylish and I'd dare say feminine looking with the toe thong. I initially purchased the silver color which is gorgeous. Love them so much I then got them in the stone color as well. They are so comfy (which you'd expect from a Birkenstock) yet are actually modern and stylish looking!

I have been wearing this same style Birkenstock sandal for the past 15 years. Love them. Always stylish, always a dream to the feet except for perhaps the first week while your foot helps to soften the leather to conform to your foot print. I have always gotten the black leather, but decided to go with silver for a casual wedding I am attending in two weeks. Heels are not recommended as it is outdoors on grass. Anyway, get them! You will get compliments and your feet will thank you. I am a size 7.5 and I buy size 38. Hurray for Zappos who delivers so fast and for free!
