These sandals are extremely comfy, right out of the box! The leather is beautiful. Something to note with Birkenstocks, I usually wear a 9 1/2 shoe. However, in the Birkesnstock sandals, I wear a 39 (8-8 1/2).

Sometimes you'll forget you have shoes on! Birkenstocks are really high comfort shoes, the only time that they're not is when you're breaking them in...but that only takes a couple days...I LOVE my red ones and they were worth the dollars + free shipping! You're doing yourself a favor by getting a pair! Also I would recommend getting a narrow fit because they will stretch.

Florida review - I have an extremely hard foot to fit. Most shoes are too wide with not enough arch support. These feel great. They are my first pair of Birkenstock's but not my last....I've already ordered another style and hope they will be as comfortable!

Worth every penny! I own these with the brown soft suede straps and they are THE BEST sandals I have ever had. They are super comfortable and very stylish. The three straps add a little something extra. Everyone loves my Birks, I highly recommend these.

Diva - Diva - I own over 15 pair(s) of "BIRKS" - The Florida is the one I choose if I am going to be inside and outside all day long. It is perfect for the Florida temperature. Your foot is very secure with the three(3) straps that you can adjust to your needs. I wear a narrow in all BIRKS. I wish that Birkenstocks would offer more "SOFT BED."

The Comfort of Birkenstocks - I recently broke my foot and the only shoes that I have been able to wear are my Birkenstocks. The shoes are so comfortable and do not hurt my foot at all.

Great shoe - I have tried the Birkenstock clog type shoes, and they did not feel good on my feet, but this sandal gave me no problems at all. I was walking five miles in them shortly after I started wearing them without any problems. The shoe stays on my feet and I never feel like I'm going to walk out of them no matter if I'm on a flat, hilly or bumpy surface.

Birkenstock Florida sandle - I love this Florida sandle by Birkenstock. It is so comfortable that you do not have to break it in as you do the other sandles. I would love to see a larger range of colors. Please email me all the colors that it comes in now.

Florida vs. Arizona - I had and loved the Arizona soft footbed shoe, but wanted something a little dressier in a soft footbed--which requires (for me) no break-in period and is comfortable beyond belief! The Florida fit the bill. Birkenstocks seem to run large. I normally wear a size 6 or 6.5 in US sizes. In most European sizes, I wear a 36 or 37. In Birkenstocks, I wear a 35. I got the Florida in a 35 narrow, which fits perfectly. (My foot is a B width; I can wear the regular width, but it's a little wide. Am not sure how someone with a really narrow width foot would do in this shoe - even in the narrow width!) This shoe runs a little shorter in length than the Arizona, which works OK for me--am not sure if this is because this shoe is a narrow width (I have a regular width in the Arizona) or if that's just the way the Florida is designed. The three straps provide a very pretty, more feminine look than the Arizona, but I do not find the Florida's three thin straps, as compared to the Arizona's two thick straps, as supportive. Still, it is a very, very comfortable shoe. Perfect for the office, running around town, or other casual or semi-dressy occasions. I wish the soft footbed shoes came in more colors and in leather, rather than just the micro fiber. I bought the Floridas in the black micro fiber, which is terrific - shows no dirt and the micro fiber seems to be wearing well. (My other shoes are the tan micro fiber - this color shows everything. Most spots come off with a wet washcloth, but not everything.) The micro fiber stretches more easily than most leathers - a mixed blessing. All in all, this is a great around-town shoe! It's pretty and comfortable.

Very comfortable but takes getting used to - I wore a larger size int his than my usual; it's important to make sure your toes don't reach the outer edge. Also it takes a while to get used to the loose fit. But it was my favorite sandal within 24 hours; that footbed is really, really comofrtable!

Birk's Soft Footbed is Awesome!!! Try these even if you already have a pair of regular Birks! These are super comfortable right away, yet offer the same support. I love this style, and find them easier to walk longer distances in because of the 3 footstraps.
