These shoes are amazing! 50 years of foot pain solved. They do run quite large. I had to return the first pair and order two sizes down. Break in easily.

These are my first pair of Birkenstocks and they felt so supportive and comfortable right out of the box. I researched quite a bit trying to decide on the right size and went with a 39. I wear a 9-9.5 and it ended up being perfect. The oiled leather is really nice too. These are not the most fashionable shoes unless you are a hippie but their fit redeems this entirely.

My foot doctor recommended the Birkenstock sandals. Love the sandals...you have to get used to them but I am glad I have them.

Really comfortable but having a hard time adjusting the straps to fit each foot. The soft sole makes a big difference--no break in needed. The original insole gives firmer support but by the end of the day, can feel like a rock under your feet. The way the sandal goes up in the front sometimes causes me to trip. Gotta get used to it.

Everything was as anticipated -- perfect. Arrived on time, no shipping charges, ready to wear. Seems a bit larger than the same shoe I purchased many years ago.
I'd also recommend: Earth shoes!
