I had previously ordered the BirkoSport insole and thought this one would work. This insole is not as long and hits the ball of the foot in the wrong place. Will order another Birkosport insole instead.

I've been using Birko Balance supports for several years now on the advice of my podiatrist. My feet are extremely flat and pronate or roll inwards to the point where my foot can roll right off of the inner edge of a shoe. The podiatrist said these were better for that condition than anything he could have custom made for me. My ankles stopped hurting the minute I began to use them, and they have fit inside all of my flat or low heeled shoes with no problem. I had to buy a half size larger than expected.

I've got bad plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and these plus Orthaheels sandals have made all the difference in the world. Just wish I could fit them in anything besides boots and sneakers. I can't wear any of my normal heels or sandals right now.
