I love this shoe. I wear it for tennis- it's very light, makes me feel lots quicker, yet supports my high arch very well and has a non-marking outsole. I've had some knee issues, and this shoe (along with my physical therapy) seems to have helped. I often wear a 10 1/2 - 11 in a Nike; I ordered this in a 41 and it fits perfectly. I like it so well I'm now trying the Biom running shoe. Friends have commented Eccos are often too narrow for their feet and this does not seem to follow that typical Ecco style. It is a really comfortable, amazing shoe.

These shoes are the most expensive athletic shoe I have ever purchased and worth every dollar. Don't know how they did it, but the foot support this shoe provides relieves my lower back pain when I walk and stand. I tried them on, put my Dansko shoes in the Ecco box and told the sales lady I am wearing them out. My husband even bought a pair after seeing me wearing mine. I love them so much I am going to get a second pair online!

The shoes are made of the softest leather. The soles of the shoes are meant to last 750 miles of running. This is my second pair in 3 years. Most shoes don't last me more than a few months.

Holy smokes, these could be the world's most amazing shoes. I walked all over Spain in them - I have bad feet - arch troubles that cause back troubles and I can honestly say that these are the best most comfortable shoes I ever wore. Put them on and walked away - it's yak hide, did you know that? They also look pretty cool - you can even get away with them with nice pants and a jacket. I will buy another pair when they make another color on the soles. The purple is a little loud and would prefer something more subtle but still just great shoes!

The BIOM Project is an innovative running and walking concept developed by ECCO®. The design behind its products is based on the principle of allowing the foot to move as nature intended it to. The forward motion of running and walking is something that our bodies have become accustomed to over hundreds of thousands of years. The human foot is made up of bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles that are especially designed to support us when we run and walk. Both of these activities however, place increased strain on the foot, which is why ECCO developed BIOM running and walking shoes. They believe in adding support only where the foot needs it, so as not in impede its natural motion.

All BIOM shoes are built on an anatomical last to provide a better fit and more natural flexion. As their aim is natural movement, they do not follow the design standards of overprotection, excessive cushioning, or motion control.

Professor Dr. Bruggemann, a leading scientist in running biomechanics, Torbjorn Sindballe, world-class triathlon pro-athlete, and ECCO have all worked in conjunction to make the BIOM Project what it has become today.

The best thing about BIOM products is that whether you’re a walker, the occasional runner, the fitness runner, or the serious runner, they have a shoe to fit your needs.

I bought these rather than the Ecco Biom golf shoe because I don't need spikes for my game but do need comfort. And, these shoes were considerably less expensive than the Biom golf shoe. There was a time that I preferred Ecco golf shoes because of the wide toe box which they seem to have abandoned. I love this shoe for its comfort.

Love Eccos, and love these shoes. Comfortable, well-engineered...worth every penny. Less clunky looking than my NBs. I feel okay wearing them in the city.

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned. They are made to fit your feet perfectly. They are very comfortable and have great support. I love Ecco - they make the best "good feet" shoes.
