Overall I gave this product 4 stars, because the wooden top closure is slightly loose, thus making it not exactly air tight. But I love the style and the fact that it is made of ceramic - safe for food. I love the wooden closure - again safe for food. It can be use in a variety of ways, as a pitcher for liquids, as a canister for dry goods, as a utensil holder and many more. I plan to purchase another one or 2.
