The band on this watch is scratchy. But it is very sporty looking and great otherwise.

Band is very scratchy. I went to Bertucci\'s website, and I see that they make leather bands. I wish Zappos carried the leather bands because they would probably be less scratchy. I like that the glass is sunk in a little. It seems that it would scratch less because of being below the metal surround. However, I can also imagine dirt getting stuck in that junction. If you have larger wrists for a woman, you won\'t be able to completely center it because there is a stop on the band. That was one of the things that I liked in the description. The band goes underneath the watch so you can keep the buckle centered on the palm side and the face centered on the front side. I can\'t get it centered because of the size of my wrists, and I even have a couple of holes leftover. I am deciding between the Bertucci watch and the Momentum brand watch. I need a watch with a second hand for a nursing program that I just started. I wanted a watch that would be very water resistant to be able to survive all the handwashing. Style wise: the metal grommets don\'t match the metal of the watch face which is aesthetically unpleasing.

Having already purchased a Bertucci for hubby and solely based on its solid titanium bar (no pins), he convinced me that I needed one too. We both work in a physically demanding environment, and I must say for the money and the styling, this is a great watch. I love the steel/slate face and EL light. It's not a high fashion dress watch which is the only reason I put 4 stars on the style but I plan to wear it everywhere. Very satisfied customer.
