Absolutely love this watch. Light. Nice fit. Very solid feel, especially the band. Love the actual eyelet holes (not just punches in the strap). Only way I'd like it more is with 1 additional feature: add the tritium things so it can be read in the dark. I'd say also add the date, but I worry that might throw off the simplicity, which I like (also, I got it in black with olive drab strap...they don't appear to carry this config any more).

Perfect for me. Light weight, rugged, no frills, easy to read dial with more traditional style. Great strap. So far very accurate. Have not reset.

I was in the market for a military style watch, and this one caught my attention. Compared to other brands, it's pretty cheap in terms of price. I wish the luminescence was a bit brighter at night; it's near illegible in the dark. The strap does take some getting used to. The underside is uncomfortable but within a week, you don't even notice it anymore. It's unfortunate that the olive drab strap/black dial color scheme does not feature a date function as other Bertucci's do. Great watch overall.

I really like this watch. Easy to read, not a bunch of extra functions I would ever use, and it seems to be built like a tank. I've also got a number of compliments about it as well. I also contacted customer service about getting another watch band and received a personal email telling me exactly what to do - kind of reminds me of Zappos!

About Bertucci
With each watch created, MH Bertucci studies the ways in which it will be worn and used. If traditional crown placement impedes wrist motion, they move it. If standard straps and buckles break in demanding situations, they build long-lasting nylon and leather straps and a more durable buckle and keeper. If normal crystals scratch and crack too easily, they create a U.S. patented case with a recessed, mineral glass crystal.
In the end, each MH Bertucci watch is designed, engineered and purpose-built to survive the rigors of daily use. Simply put, watches from MH Bertucci perform like no other field watch because they´re built like no other field watch.

This watch is very handsome, and the unusual color gets it noticed! I bought it as a gift for my husband, and I was a little concerned that the strap attachment (one piece of leather threaded behind the case instead of two straps attached at top and bottom) might not be comfortable. However, he said he doesn't notice the difference and finds the watch just as comfortable as the more usual style. It keeps excellent time and is very nicely made. A quality watch in all respects.

Great watch! Very accurate, tough, and light. Easy to forget that I have it on. Well designed; the offset strap doesn't dig into your wrist and the machined case (rather than pins) makes it better than the Army-issued field watch that I once wore.

I had been looking for a small size military watch for some time, it seemed that everything out there was huge. I came across the Bertucci and took a chance and ordered it, it was perfect. I love my new watch. Not too many extra features that nobody uses anyhow. Great look.

I found it incredibly difficult to find a simple, classically styled watch that does one thing and does it well- tell time. After nearly losing hope of finding a well made, classical styled time piece that will stand the test of time (ironic for a watch, no?) I finally found references to the Bertucci line. Close on the trail after such an arduous search it wasn't long before I found the Zappos.com sales site for the watches. I was pleased to find that not only were the pages there informative about the watch, but they were filled with informative and intuitive references and asides which made choosing the perfect fit for me nearly effortless. When it comes to the watch itself I couldn't be happier. The face and hands are clear and easily readable without ostentation or garish distractions. I can clearly tell the time at a glance, something quite difficult with the usual fair in watch-land nowadays. The construction is incredibly sturdy and I am certain it will last for quite some time. I am no diver, but the screw in stem leads me to believe that I need never worry about getting this thing wet in any fashion. The Leather strap is wider than I've used in the past, but the design of the watch and integration with the very sturdy buckle and stitching make me feel very comfortable wearing this good looking combination on my arm in formal or casual occasions. I am well pleased with my purchase all around.

I returned 2 Bertuccis at Zappos until I finally stuck with this one. Great classic military style. Swiss movement keeps great time. I really like this watch. For a basic military watch it is a little pricey but I think you're getting what you pay for with this watch. I really like it.
Brands I'd also recommend: timex, marathon

So far this is has been a really nice watch. Besides being comfortable, tough and telling the time, I've even received a few random unsolicited compliments for its appearance. It's just a tough, good-looking watch. Two Minor (for me) Caveats: 1. I will echo those who have said the glow-in-the-dark parts are utterly worthless, but that's not super important to me. Usually I have access to a light or can just use the clock on my phone. 2. When you're wearing certain dress or other shirts with a narrow wrist, you'll need to have a slimmer back-up, cause this one is a bit thick.

I bought this after seeing it in Wired Magazine. It has lived-up to expectations. A durable watch that looks sharp and has a somewhat unique band. The glow-in-the-dark arms could use a touch more glow, but that's a bit of a nitpick.

This is a substantial watch, physically large, very rugged, but reasonably lightweight. The offset knob is a plus. The face is easy to read in daylight, but the luminous material isn\'t the newest available and is somewhat difficult to see in dim light. The glass is good quality, able to withstand knocks against various common materials without scratching. Overall, a terrific value.
