My wife loves the Bernardo Miami sandals! I purchased a pair for her when we were first married (1963). During the years, whenever my wife wanted white sandals she always tried to find the Bernardo Miami. No one seemed to carry them. For our 48th wedding anniversary I decided to see if I could find them again. I found Zappos and they delivered. My wife was thrilled when I gave them to her - she loves the Bernardo Miami sandals! The sandals are very well made and look great. Plan on getting her a pair of navy and a pair of red Bernardo Miami sandals. They may seem to be a bit expensive but you always get what you pay for. They are well worth the price.

Out of the box you can tell these are well made and worth the money. The padding of the foot bed is so comfortable. All that said, they made the heel so narrow that it sits on my foot crooked causing my heel to touch the ground. This to me is a huge oversight for what could have easily been my favorite flip flop.

I have been wanting a pair of black icon Bernardo's for years. After settling on various over priced, lower quality, sandals I finally purchased my first pair of Bernardo's and absolutely love them! They are stylish, classic, well made and comfortable. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size up and very glad I did. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and the size 9 fits perfectly. I have a slightly narrow foot and the straps fit just right so if you have a wide foot they may need to stretch. I also can't say enough about Zappos customer service. I was originally shipped the wrong shoe which was disappointing because I was leaving the next for vacation and planned on bringing my new sandals. I called Zappos customer service and discovered the shoe I ordered that was on sale was no longer in stock. I decided on a different style even though it wasn't on sale and they shipped it to me overnight to my hotel where I'd be the next day. The customer service agent was very friendly and efficient. I'll be ordering another Bernardo style and color as soon as it is in stock.

This is probably the best sandal ever! I wore them many years ago, and began wearing them again a few years back. They are incredibly comfortable, and look great with anything from shorts to casual dresses. A truly iconic sanddal! I have them in many colors! Totally worth the money!
I'd also recommend: Jack Rogers

I love these sandals. I have already bought another color. They do not look like they offer any support but they are comfortable to wear all day, even for someone like me who has pretty flat feet. And they are great looking. I have the gold and the white and I will spend the summer in them. They run small so go up a size.
I'd also recommend: J. Renee sandals are also nice, Onex too narrow
