Since bunion surgery, I've had to order all shoes a 1/2 size larger and in wide. These boots were definitely larger & wide. My feet slipped around in them. I've reordered a little smaller bit in W and will review again at that time. Zappos is great to deal with.

It's a great ankle boot! I have some swelling in my left ankle, and large calves. That makes my feet especially hard to fit and Tristan is working out pretty well. Some days I don't zip the left boot quite all the way, but it still feels secure. I ordered a size 8XW. It's comfortable enough for all day long (I am a teacher, so on my feet quite a bit) and looks stylish, too. (I gave it 4 stars for comfort because--after all--nothing with 3 inch heels is that comfy.) I wear them with slacks and long skirts. And, as always, Zappos has fantastic customer service--overnight and free!

I wanted to like these but it seems like they do not work for normal feet. I kept slipping out as the instep is extremely wide and large and there is nothing to keep your feet down so your heel moves quite a lot while walking. Also; the flap on the front makes them look a little silly; but that is a matter of taste and opinion.

I have these boots in 6WW and they are very comfortable. The heel height and the platform are a great look with leggings or tights with a skirt or dress. The height is good-a little higher than most ankle boots. The material is quality leather and they go on very easily.
