Took a chance ordering these...there weren't any reviews as of yet. Glad I did. Ordered a 10.5 fit is perfect. They are super stiff but I have no doubt they will be fine in a couple weeks after being broken in. They look great, better than the pictures.

Good looking, well made, heavy. Ordered 13's wear 13 in Red Wing, 14 in Reebok. I must be a size 12B in Bedstu loop! Huge shoe. Mis-sized. Going back.
Brands I'd also recommend: red wing

I should have paid heed to Jay's review from Aug '11. I ordered a size 13 in Coal. This boot is a full size larger than marked. The finish is both duller and 2 shades lighter the product photos indicate. Zappos has a bad habit of increasing both the contrast and vibrancy of their images. Style-wise I was expecting more. With jeans on you could almost mistake these boots for a pair of black bowling shoes. The sole has a nice texture when viewed from the bottom but is thin and timid looking from the side. The sole's material also feels a bit soft which leads me to believe that moderate usage will make a significant dent in no time at all. At best this is a $70 boot. I'm returning these for a refund.

I will try to be brief, I don't see this boot/shoe lasting longer than 3 to 4 months. Before I rant on the structural integrity, or lack-thereof, I will say that is a pretty killer looking boot, and they are comfy, beyond that if you're wanting something for more than just show, look elsewhere. I didn't buy these for a work boot (not that naive), but for this price it would be nice if they would be built to last. It may seem a small detail, but I have had them for a couple weeks and already booth laces have ripped in multiple places. Doesn't seem like a good omen. Suffice to say, Stylish yes, durable, doubtful.

Great boot. Yes, it is one full size larger than marked. I wear an 11 boot and this boot in size 10 fits well. It's a total brain teaser. If I put this boot next to my other boots/shoes/sneakers it looks smaller than the others. Hold the boot up against another boot sole to sole and this boot is smaller. But put the boots on your feet and... they fit. And fit well and are comfy within an hour of wear. They're bigger on the inside than they look outside. They're Tardis boots. And yes the sole is very soft and may not last a super long time but it's probably part of the comfort. Great boot for the cost.

Good looking boots, but way more tough and rugged looking than I expected. The details add some style, but they come very distressed. Looks like a pretty serious boot. Overall, I really like them. Order small. I ordered a full size smaller than I usually wear and they're still too big.
