According to Dr. Dre, "People aren't hearing all the music. Artists and producers work hard in the studio perfecting their sound. But people can't really hear it with normal headphones. Most headphones can't handle the bass, the detail, the dynamics. Bottom line: the music doesn't move you. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear, and listen to the music the way they should: the way I do." For unparalleled sound innovation, the only option is Beats by Dr. Dre™.

These are the best headphones around. The bass and mids pop like no other. Bose are comparable but just not as good. I bought mine thru Amazon and received them 18 hours after I placed the order! I have been enjoying them for the last week. Definitely highly recommended.

These are not even close to being the best cans for the price. Bass is strong but muddy, mid and highs are weak for this price range. Listen to units by Beyerdynamics, AKG and Sennheiser. Most of them will blow these Beats away!
I'd also recommend: AKG, Beyerdynamics, Sennheiser

These are by far the best beats you can get they far surpass any other Beats, but if you listen to anything other than rap or pop these are utterly useless. The bass feels completely unnatural and they mids get somewhat over powered by the bass. Also, if you listen to anything with treble be prepared for those highs to turn into mids. Overall its a good set of cans but there's much better ones for the price.
I'd also recommend: Sennheiser, Grado, Klipsch and Audio-Technca.

I purchased these for my daughter because she loves music so much. She and my son love them. They are simple to operate and the sound is amazing! I could not wait to try them myself. I love music and singing too!

First of all let me tell you I came looking for another pair of headphone to replace my Sennheisers that would fall off my head, as they would adjust snugly enough to not fall from my head when looking down to see what strings I am playing while hearing my metronome through the headphones. Also the Sennheisers would cause my ears to ache after about an hour of wearing. Now mind you I come with a lot of issues that most standard people will not! I am a hot mess! I am a disabled veteran who has suffered two near fatal vehicle accidents while serving overseas. I suffered two served head injuries, bother closed-head so there were no holes-no surgery. I also have severe hearing damage so I cannot hear a metronome easily & my guitar instructor is amazed how I can tune it out! No! I just cannot hear it! So a good set of head phone with the sound up to a decent medium level so it is heard over my MESA Boogie Amp is needed! I was amazed right away! I also use them for my music listening which is a part of my guitar lessons, study. I have a 6?-7¼ size head, depending on the uniform hat or helmet gear. So I was surprised the Sennheisers would slip of my standard sized head! The Dr. Dre's Studio BEATs fit nicely and for me, my hearing and head issues, I tilt them +/- 5 degree slightly to the back. The sound a low medium level even for me is outstanding! I can hear instruments in pieces that I never knew these instruments had been in there before! Also! I heard complains on the battery life. I have over 5½ hours on the original pair of batteries still and counting. Some folks just like to complain! I am amazed... everyday is a gift for me and my guitar lessons help enable a higher quality of life for me even with all my disabilities and the Studio Beats. Well all I can say about them is that I am sorry that I did not get them sooner! You really will enjoy these! They provide a tremendous kick for each nickel spent!
I'd also recommend: Sennheiser
