This is a very pretty dress. The opening in the back, is definitely a highlight of the dress, but the asymmetrical skirt is also nice. Overall, because of the simple front and long sleeve, I would say that it looks quite conservative. Material is very thin, so for most of occasions, one needs a camisole or at a bra under it. I am 5.3, 110lb. My usual size in many brands is 0 or XS, many of my BCBGeneration dresses are in 0. This dress fits me perfectly in XXS. In my opinion, this is a nice dress to have if you like a somewhat safe updated black dress.
